You can climb to the top of this chuch for a small fee. I believe it is at least 10 to 13 stories though I could be wrong. The climb itself is rather intense up and old winding staircase that is not for those out of shape (there are landings where you can stop and catch your breath or rest you legs and there were quite a few people taking advantage of this) but if you make it to the viewing platform (it wraps around the steeple) tou will be rewarded with an awesome view of all of Munich and on a clear day like we had a view of the Alps to the south.

Beautiful and worth seeing while in Munich. See if you can include this on a day tour of the city or invest in a day pass for the rail- it takes you and a guest everywhere in the city for $10 US

This beautiful church built in the 1200's survived wars and bombings and is completely restored. Enjoy it's magnificent artwork and history. Photos are allowed when active services are not in progress.

Oldest building of 11th century. Worth seeing. Must go view tower .otherwise will miss. I am a muslim but have respect for churches of christian community. Most of staff members in my hospital r christians. I regard their religion. I visited while fasting .a fast of 22 hours in munich germany on that day. But enjoyed a lot. Day lights at 10 pm at night while in my country Pakistan it is full black night at 10pm. Germany is a beautiful country.
