“Kitty Club goes to Munich”

Breathtakingly beautiful, so ornate and historic, this is a landmark not to be missed. You can see on the wall the history of the church and how it has evolved over the centuries it is fascinating.

“Make sure and get a look at St. Munditia”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

She is the saint of single women (spinsters) and her bones are over 300 years old. She's in a little cove near the door. This church is the oldest in Munich and supposedly on the spot where the monks first settled Munich. It's a beautiful and deserves a visit. Make sure and take a look at the sign outside the door of things you shouldn't do (i.e. no hands in your pockets please).

“Beautiful Gothic Church”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

I love this style of church and architecture. The crowd around detracts a little, but worth the visit.

“Nice surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

Granted, I'm a cathedral junkie, this is what I was expecting from the Frauenkirche. A very lovely cathedral. Beautiful Rococo plaster work, gilt everything, but peaceful and serene.
