Very clean hotel which is located walking distance to most of Munich's downtown sites. Great breakfast with lots of healthy choices. Public transit is very close. Rooms are a bit small; but, when you only need a place to sleep, it doesn't really matter.

We stayed 2 nights at Room 24. The room is slightly bigger than the room we stayed at Motel One Mirabell Salzburg, but the extra space was already sufficient to make our stay much more comfortable. The Hotel is modern, new and clean. Staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast at 7.50Euro per person a day is of good value. It includes bread and croissant, various kinds of cold cuts and cheese, tea and coffee, as well as fruits, yoghurt and boiled egg, and is good enough to start a day. After staying at Motel One Mirabell Salzburg and Vienna, I trust these are the normal standards of Motel One. The Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and is about 600m from the Rosenheimer Platz S-Station which is very close to the Old Town. Marienplatz is only 2 stops away. Connection to the airport is also easy as S-8 goes direct to the Airport in about 35 minutes. S-1 also goes to the airport but takes a much longer route so do not take S-1. The Deutsche Museum (a great place to visit) is about 5 minute walk away. Outside the Hotel there is a descending path that goes across the river onto the Museum. There is a convenient store at the gas station about 100 m from the Hotel. Overall, the Hotel is recommendable.

During June 2014, this hotel was our home base, on four separate occasions, and we stayed a total of 12-nights. We found the staff especially helpful and accommodating. Motel-One is an absolutely no frills chain, except possibly their wonderful coffee machine at the breakfast buffet, and you need to save some of the body wash gel to wash your hands, but we found it the most affordable choice in the area and perfectly comfortable. The room is small but the price is worth sacrificing the size. We each travel with a 22-inch rolling bag and computer bag and had enough room to place all the bags near the window, which left us enough room to maneuver around the bed. We always slept well (requested rooms on highest floors for most quiet). Except for one short period of hearing a baby cry, the walls seem insulated enough to prevent noise from passing between rooms. We enjoyed the great walking along the nearby canal, numerous eateries and it's closeness to the Rosenheimer Platz Metro. We understand that a Motel-One is being built in New York City and we're very excited to have this cross the Atlantic.

Room Tip: The higher rooms were quiet and the city view was lovely.

I stayed here for 3 nights, and I cannot fault it!

The room is modern feeling, ok the wardrobe space is very small, but for a mini break 4 or 5 hangers is fine.
The air conditioning was adequate, considering there was a mini heat wave last week, it coped brilliantly. Black out curtains, means you are not disturbed, until you want to be.
The breakfast is adequate, continental style, with a good selection of do it yourself coffee's from the machine.
The hotel is bright, airy, clean and fresh feeling.

All staff were friendly and able to help. Check in of 50 people was oranised and with a little bit of help, all people were checked in within 10 minutes of arriving.

A fantastic location, that enabled us to easily take a stroll in downtown Munich backwards and forwards over the river, I doubt you would get a better location for the price.

I can't fault Motel One Deutsches Museum. If you are thinking of booking, just go ahead, you won't be dissapointed.

Modern and stylish: friendly professional staff, clean rooms (that admittedly are on the small side). Breakfast is varied and good value for money. Reception were particularly helpful in the "business trip" part of our visit (booking taxis and giving traffic advice). This was our second Motel One (stayed in Sendlinger Tor the first time) and already booked another stay for the autumn.

Room Tip: Higher floor have views of the Alps (from the "right" side)

We stayed here for 2 nights, considering we only paid £70 per night without breakfast, we thought it was very good value, the room is small but well fitted out with shelves and hanging space, electrical sockets at either side of the bed and also one near the large mirror in the room. A nice comfy bed with good quality bed linen. The bathroom was nicely tiled, with a good sized shower, the towels were also soft and good quality. The room also has free wifi with a good connection.
The only things we missed in the room was a fridge and a safe.

A 5 minute walk from rosenheimer platz, which was handy for the train to and from the airport.
