We stayed in the Deluxe room and were very happy with our decision. The room was large, comfortable, modern and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi was great (most of the time) and although the location of the hotel was not in the city centre, it was a short walk to the closet tram stop, then 3 stops to the central station, or a 20 minute walk.

Room Tip: If you can afford to get a deluxe room, you will not be disappointed.

The rooms are big and the hotel is very comfortable. The only thing that surprised me is the way to make the room every day, taht was not a good standard. The towels were unfolded and sometimes the bed was bad done.

I cannot stress enough how perfect the location of this hotel is. It is located outside of the crowded tourist area, so it is not loud and hectic. Public transportation is nearby and there is absolutely no need for a car, which is great. You can tell that the hotel has recently undergone renovations, the rooms smell new and everything was clean when we got there. They even left complimentary sparkling water, which was a nice little touch. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. They had everything you could possibly want, multiple types of bread and bagels as well as juices, coffee, tea, etc.If you want a nice, quiet hotel away from the hectic tourist part of the city, this is the place to come, you will not regret it.

Hotel Europa is located just outside of the Altstadt in Munich. The S-Bahn (street car) is about a block and a half/two blocks from the hotel and it takes 5-10 minutes to get right down town. The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms, bathrooms, and bedding is all new. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Parking is available for 10 euro a night in the garage under the hotel. There is also a nice little bar and garden in the back of the hotel with plenty of seating. The thing that stands out most about the hotel though is the breakfast. The hotel has the best spread of anywhere I have ever been. There is both a continental and American/English breakfast.

We had a fantastic 2 room suite on upper floor, We could walk to most tourist attractions and streetcar was very convenient for more distant destinations such as Nymphenburg Palace. Thought price a bit high until we saw how much room we had, the great location and breakfast spread. Also had a good nearby neighborhood for shopping..

Room Tip: Our room was on upper floor facing the street. Even though I booked only 1 room, we actually had tw...

This is a lovely hotel just a little outside of the tourist mobbed area of Munich. It is in a neighborhood and if you are a little adventurous, skip the touristy restaurants and head for a neighborhood dining experience. We were able to catch public transportation from the hotel as well as walk to all kinds of attractions.

The breakfast spread is impressive. The staff wonderful and helpful. Everything was very clean and functioned well. Beautiful outdoor garden.

Room Tip: The rooms in the building not on the main street are quiet.

- the room was not large, but the functuality of the room was impressive. The designer has really been thinking of the needs of a traveller.
- one of the best beds I have ever slept in.
- soundproof room with silent air- condition
- safety box located so it is easy to use
- free WIFI for up to six devices. Quick and realiable.
- spotless clean and functional bathroom with large and thick towels.
- excellent breakfast buffet with wide varity of hot and cold food. The sparking wine made my day.
- parking in garage ( 10 EUR/ day)
- a few tram stops from the centrum
- dozens of ethnic restaurants, some from really exotic countries, in waking distance ( Theresienstrasse and Gabelbergstrasse).

Room Tip: Even the room facing Dachauer Strasse was absolutely quiet
