The Good Points
Reasonable room rate for central Munich. 5 minute walk to Karlsplatz U Bahn. Nice modern room although the triple room was quite compact. Good selection for breakfast particularly if you favour salad, meats etc.
The Bad Points
We stayed in the front of the building which overlooked the main road and was extremely noisy until about 3.00am. Even with the window shut the street noise was still loud but as it was so hot we really needed to leave the window open.

Room Tip: If you like sleeping, don't sleep on the main road side.

The only good things about this hotel were its central location, a helpful day receptionist whose name I cannot recall. The hotel itself is very basic. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a central location stay here. You will get what you pay for. And, by the way, you'll probably encounter a surly gent on night duty. Scowl right back at him!

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the street. Very stuffy and hot in summer, even with an electric fan.

we have stayed at this hotel for one night - those days was very hot In Munchen(32 degree C) and in the room wasn't an A.C., we open the window and because it was in front of the road, was very noisy - many restaurants and in the nights was very crowded, many peoples are screaming. Early in the morning, at 6:00 o'clock in the front building started the workers to build something....and again noising.... We wondered that for a 3 stars hotels, expensive, we haven't a free wifi???? They offer connection in change of 5 EURO!!!!!! Very funny!
The positive think that we have a good breakfast - fresh and varied.

Room Tip: Not to have in front of the road - because is noisy

The location has been 'reviewed' as being in a seedy/ rundown area, but these people have obviously never spent much time in Germany. Very much the norm in terms of a German city centre. Casinos, sex shops, food outlets, bars, and normal city centre shops all merge into one.

Key points seem to be that it is 5 minutes walk from both the hauptbahnhof and marienplatz, it's clean, does a good breakfast (although it is true Bavarian fare : coleslaw with ham for brekky!?), and has good, friendly staff.

On a down side, there is no air con, and the room outside is busy until 5am so no open windows if you're not inebriated. If this is acceptable, as it was for our party, then don't look much further than the hotel wallis for a good value location!

Just keep an eye out for midnight cyclists flying past the entrance!!

The hotel is in a handy location not only to the train station but to other cultural points such as Marienplatz.

There are some elements of the neighbourhood that are less than desirable, but as long as you're sensible you'll be fine.

The breakfast is definitely impressive and caters to a wide variety of tastes.

The service of the staff was fantastic. They provided good advice, were always making the effort to say hello and were quick to resolve any issues.

The hotel would be improved by the installation of air-conditioning, particularly in the rooms that receive the afternoon sun. Some cheaper (or free) Wi-Fi options would be handy also.

We rented two rooms and they were street side. Due to the heat, we had to keep the windows open. The noise from the street was unbearable. Nobody in our family was able to get a decent night sleep.

The hotel is close to the train station and makes it easy place to walk to if you're in Munich. However, you will be walking through some run down neighborhoods and adult sex shops.

We found the hotel staff at the front desk surly and unhelpful. A simple request for a roll away and some extra bedding elicited a terse response.

Surprisingly, the breakfast was great. It had a wide variety of items to choose from.

It is hard to recommend this hotel other than for its location and breakfast.

Room Tip: Make sure to avoid street side if possible.

Streets are quite close for navigating also one way streets in the area. We were able to park at the hotel car park €13.00 per day train station was very close also buses. Good selection of restaurants and close to shopping area. Nice to walk around shopping area at night. Hotel was clean good selection for breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful in booking trips for us and giving us information of what was available.

Room Tip: There are 7 floors with 9 rooms on each floor
