“A 3rd good choice by me in 10 days”
Reviewed 4 June 2011

I just checked out this morning after being there for 3 nights. As the other reviewers have stated, it is a good value, convenient to the U-bahn (about 1/2 block walk), the rooms were clean, the breakfast was as expected for a European buffet, and the staff were professional and friendly. And there is a bar in the lobby, that was actually very lively one night.

Yes, the Internet was free. But wired Internet in the room is problematic. The work area is very small and the lighting is very poor (in fact the lighting throughtout the room is very dated). The hotel is really in a suburban, residential area. I walked up and down Frankfurter Ring about 3 blocks in both directions, in the rain to find a convenience door to purchase some water. None was to be found. And the hotel charge for a bottle of water is the same a for a six pack at the grocery store. To be fair, there is an Aldi across the street, but its hours are limited. I would also ascertain the status of the air conditioning. It was not woeking in my room during my stay.

Again, I am just pointing out things that you should know about. I would certainly stay here again.

This is a comfortable business class hotel. Handy location just a 50m walk to the subway with a 10 minute ride into central Munich. Good value for our weekend stay in 2 rooms over Christmas. Breakfast was generous and a hit with the boys. Rooms were comfortable with free internet. No complaints. Good value.

We travel with a small child and it's always nice to find a useful surprise like a kitchenette inside the hotel room! Very friendly staff, good location, very close to BMW HQ, Museum and the factory. Underground/tube station is 1 minute walk from hotel entrance. Free Wi-Fi included in the lobby or wired internet in the room (ask reception for CAT5 cable or bring your own :). Secure underground parking is a reasonable 12 Euro for 24hr. Free breakfast was a nice surprise as well, plenty of food to choose from including famous Nuremberg sausages.

We have a wonderful quiet stay at this hotel, would recommend all travelers, especially families with small kids.

So I booked this hotel becaused Breakfast was included. I have company daily allowance so staying on a "breakfast included" hotel is a way of saving some euros.

When I got the bill, I realised that Breakfast is included in the total price but they divide so you get room and breakfast charges.

So that for me is not "breakfast included". I was told that this is because german tax oblige to separate breakfast and room... so if it is like this and they can not offer a "breakfast included" service, then they should not offer it.

I have lost more than 50 euros. Maybe that's not much, but I don't like this way of doing things. Prices should always be very clear and in this case they are not!

We stayed at the Park Inn Frankfurter Ring for 3 nights, The staff were very friendly, all of them could speak english.

The room was good, we were on the top level so the roof was sloped, I think between us we must of hit our heads about 20 times. I would probably suggest if you do stay there that you avoid the top level.

They had free internet which was great, although only free wifi in the lobby, in the rooms you had to use ethernet.

Location was reasonable, about a 15 minute journey into town via the subway.

OK, so I choose my hotels carefully so it's rare for me to write a bad trip advisor review and this hotel is no exception. It is, at £50 a night including breakfast, wonderful. A friend and I had a weekend in Munich and stayed at this hotel. It has a small staff complement and all are very friendly with nothing being too much hassle for them. Whilst wifi is restricted to the lobby/reception area, it worked very well for me. There is ethernet in the room but no use with an iphone!
My room was large with two single beds and bizarrely included a microwave and hobs - but could be a German thing as the last hotel I stayed at in Berlin had the same.
Overall, a great hotel that is a short walk to the Munich underground system from where it's only five stops into the city.

The hotel would rate is a 3 star .the rooms were Excellent and cleniness was really nice.
However the small restaurant terrace had no atmosphere not well kept nor clean.
The garage Parking for hotel Customers should have a reasonable charge or even free.12/= Euros per day is a meal for someone who doesnt have so much money to spend.
The Breakfast service was good but no eggs offered like Scramble or omelttes etc.The breakfast Buffet was Mono tenous every morning the during our stay the same .
Munich is surrounded by so many beautiful farms. Most of the diary Products were conserved or may be bought from Aldi Sued.
All in all its OK for a short stay in the Bussling Frankfurter Ring.
Munich has lost its old tradition and Flair compare to 15 years back. What a shame. Will only go to Munich if really necessary..
At the Marien Platz you hardly see any German Citizens, lots of foreigners.I thought I was visiting Doha or Cairo or Baghdad.Disgusting.These Arabs were shopping in very expensive shops but were having Hamburgers as Lunch at MD or BK what a contrasst.
All in all Munich is far too expensive.not a place to leave anymore.
