This hotel in the center of Munich gives us a warm and welcoming feeling upon arrival. The front desk staff get things done for you, period. Sitting in their huge lobby and having a snack is popular with both the hotel guests and the local folks.. Our second time there and will be the only hotel for us in Munich. Lovely in hotel dining and great point from which to walk to everything including very good restaurants. Rooms have been nicely upgraded and are fun. Terrific showers.

Room Tip: Always ask for an upgrade. They try to accomodate.

This is the top of line in luxury hotels. Very convenient to restaurants and shops. The personnel at the door and front desk were friendlier and more helpful than anything we have ever experienced. The lobby is fabulous and a perfect oasis for drinks, snacks or a small meal. While sitting in the lobby having wine with my wife, the young man at the front desk recognized us from a previous chat, left his post and walked to the other side of the lobby where he saw us sitting to make certain that the 5 AM wake up call we had requested earlier was accurate since it was so early the next morning. I was astonished that someone would double check to make certain that we were not inconvenienced by a possible error. Just love this hotel.

This hotel is one of the stalwarts in Munich and while it shows its age it still has its charm, plus its superb location for (expensive) shopping... Outstanding service and pampering are the hallmarks of Kempinski and both showed throughout our stay. We arrived by car shortly after noon, and the hotel entrance was more than double-parked. Nevertheless, we were asked to just stop, they took the luggage and the car keys and swept us to check-in. Double surprise: the room was ready and an upgrade to a marvellous junior suite with a immense bath-room including steam-sauna and a jacuzzi. When we came back from shopping a tray with sweets with waiting. The “princess” claimed the bed to have been one of the best ever and started the next day with a lazy morning in the jacuzzi. The recommendations for dinner and lunch were superb, reservations handled promptly and check-out (plus car return) a breeze.
Now one could wish that the lobby bar would be a bit removed from the constant flow of people, the corridors less long, the décor less tired and the water-faucets in the bathroom marked hot or cold, but the great pool on the top floor and the welcoming attitude of all staff made this a fantastic stay.

Great location, wonderful service, nice rooms. Hotel is far from being cheap. I stayed during Oktoberfest, was very crowded and fully booked like every other hotel in the city. There are cheaper hotels around the same neighbourhood but this one was a sure shot for me. The only disaapointment was the gym room which was the size of my room. But this will not reduce any stars.

Loved this hotel, we stayed here for Oktoberfest which was a little out the way but you can easily get the U-Bahn (Tube) which takes about 10 minutes. For sightseeing the main attractions this hotel is perfect.
The staff are really nice and helpful and the swimming pool is a nice added bonus, especially for a late night swim after a long day sightseeing.
The only think I would have like is tea and coffee making facilities, which you could always take your own travel kettle and supplies.

My friend and I had such a great girl weekend at the Vier Jahreszeiten.
The rooms are lovely and well renovated; The beds VERY comfortable.
The hotel has a true atmosphere, a good authentic touch to it.

The restaurant was very good but what I preferred was their breakfast. A true brunch!

The highlight of the stay I must admit was the massage we had!
I can really recommend a masseuse: Sabrina. She was so lovely and it was honestly one of my best massage.

Stayed in this very well equipped and well positioned hotel for five nights for business trip. Rooms are very spacious with large bathroom and dressing room, bedroom is a good size with desk and lounge. The position of the hotel is fantastic, central to everything. Concierge were helpful, all staff were attentive and polite. It is an expensive hotel and there is nothing that I could criticise anyone or anything about, but it doesn't have a wow factor about it like some of the other kempinski properties. In saying that, the position really is a great bonus, the atmosphere in the lobby is great and I wasted a few afternoons people watching and enjoying the yummy afternoon teas and the rooms spacious, well furnished and clean.
