Comfortable hotel in easy reach of the city centre by bus. The restaurant was fantastic - serving local specialigies, with a great atmosphere. Helpful, friendly staff.

It was not an easy location for seeing the sights of Munich. The street was horribly noisy, but if we closed the windows we baked. The internet was 13 euros a day. The restaurant was pleasant and had a nice garden.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the rooms and by the restaurant/pub downstairs. The rooms were clean and the service was OK although we had reserved non-smoking rooms and we got smoking ones. The hotel has a good position from the city center and is relatively close to the tube stations. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.
The food from the restaurant was great although the prices are comparable to ones in the center.

The reception staff was friendly and gave us a lot of useful information. The room was not very big, but very clean and nice furnished. The double bed was big. The room was very warm even though it was very cold outside.
The hotel is close to the city center and extremely close to a bus station. You have to walk for about 10 min to get to a subway station.
I didn't like the price for the breakfast (12 euro). The hotel's restaurant served very good food.

If Ronseal made hotels, this is the what they would make. It does exactly what it says on the tin. You get a bed, a shower, a loo, a desk and a TV (only English station was CNN). Being Germany, everything works, is clean and efficient.
The room was a bit on the small side, but I like the fact that I could open the window (ask for a quiet room - mine overlooked the courtyard at the back which was fine - I am told that those at the front are a bit noisy with the traffic - but I don't know if that is true)
The staff were friendly, spoke excellent English (unlike my terrible German), and went out their way to help. Could not fault them.
Breakfast was a traditional German breakfast - which I am sure is fine if that is your bag, but gherkins for breakfast was a bit too much for me... They did have cereal for those of us with a less fortified constitution. The coffee was good - and plentiful.
The restaurant served traditional Bavarian food - which is good, solid, fare.
Negatives: The wireless internet was slow and far too expensive (17 Euros for 24hr access) and the pillow (just the one) was the most uncomfortable pillow in the history of pillows.
Would I recommend it? Yes - you get good value for money. But ask for a second - or even third - pillow.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel.
Good points are that the rooms are clean and decent with good amenities. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant. We did not try the breakfast whilst we were here but there is breakfast available.
Bad points are that there is a bit of noise from the road if you stay at the front of the hotel and also that there is a restuarant/bar downstairs which they roll the metal barrels out from at night. I wore earplugs to enable me to get a decent nights sleep.
Hotel is slightly out of the way from the main centre too.
Overall a decent hotel for the price. Having travelled all over Germany I felt this place was one of the better places for the money.

Stayed a couple of days in this hotel. Attic room was very nice and well equipped - the lighting could be improved however.

Reception staff was friendly. House keeping was rather unattentive however. Cleanliness could be improved. Rooms facing the street get a little noisy in the morning.

Location is near "Deutsches Museum" and near to a bus stop but not to the underground. There are a couple of nice pubs and places to eat in the area.

Free parking is hard to find around. There's an hotel parking which you have to pay for.

Overall value for money is ok.
