We stayed 8 nights in this hotel. The location was perfect for us because of the ease of access to buses, trains and trams. There is a huge mall within 5 minutes walking distance. The train hub for Pasing is a 20 minute walk, but you can take a bus there instead. The staff was wonderful--they spoke English and were extremely cordial. Every morning we enjoyed a most wonderful breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruits, breads, fresh juice and on and on. What a truly great surprise that we picked such a terrific place to stay for 8 nights. We would definitely recommend this to everyone and would stay there again.

I stayed with my wife and another couple in the Imperial hotel in April during a visit to Munich. The hotel rate was 55 Euros and another 10 for parking. The hotel is on the outskirts of Munich, however there is a tram from the front of the hotel that takes you to the inner city in about 20 minutes. (The street in front of the hotel is currently being work on and the tram is not running, you have to catch a bus to the tram.)

The hotel is typica European, small rooms, small bath rooms, tiny elevator, etc. Everything is clean and we found the staff to be exceptionaly friendly and very helfpful. They all understood English very well. The breakfast served is outstanding with a wide assortment of meats, eggs, pasteries, and cerals.

We arrived at the Hotel Imperial after the check-in time. The people at the desk were not entirely friendly, and told us that our room was not ready. They told us to wait in the hotel bar. We waited for nearly an hour. Finally, after asking three times, we were told that our room was ready.

The rooms are very small. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed! The bathroom, also very small. The rooms were clean, though, so no complaints about that.

The hotel must be a common spot for the younger crowd because there was a large party of teens staying the same night as us, and they were very loud, shouting out the windows. We did not complain, however, and just chalked it up to kids having fun.

The hotel was a fairly long walk to trains, but there were a lot of bus stops near by. We didn't venture into the bus travel, however we nearly mastered the trains in our two day stay.

We also were lucky to find street parking near by.

Free breakfast included at this hotel was satisfactory.

For the price, it was worth it, as Munich hotel generally run pretty expensive.

Valuable choice. Close to tram stop (100m) and s-bahn station (10 minutes walk). Plenty of free parking possibilities around the hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and lovely staff at the reception. Well worth the value.

It is located in Pasing, Munich with a really convenient tram (#19) located just a 2min walk away that takes you to all of the major tourist areas. The rooms are clean, but small - especially the bathroom, but they have a TV and hairdryer. They also supply buffet breakfast with your room charge which has a great selection, and dinner is a set menu (3-4 course meal including 1 pint of beer) also included in the price (unknown to my husband and I!). Very nice.
