We stayed here for two nights in June 2006, choosing it from Trip Advisor recommendations. It has a slightly off-centre location in a delightful area of cafes, restaurants and antique shops, and is five minutes from the centre by the tram that stops round the corner. The hotel is personally run and has a very friendly atmosphere. Rooms are individually and tastefully furnished with original art. Most rooms are on the quite inner courtyards (though one has garbage containers outside, which may not be to everyone's liking). If you are a light sleeper, make sure to ask for an inside room, because the outside rooms, though not on a major traffic street, face out on a small square with cafes. This is a typical German pension-type hotel: there is no lounge or bar, though the cafes all around provide an acceptable substitute. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and of high quality; the orange juice, always a key indicator, is fresh. Overall, terrific value for money. We were delighted and would certainly stay there again.
