I could not believe how big this place was or how full it was. There were people all around us but unlike at other sites they did allow us to space our tents enough apart to not feel too cramped. There was a main bathroom facility and then some smaller ones. all the smaller ones were closed when we were there, so we had to go to the main one. It was a bit of a trek and if you didn't want to take a super roundabout way you had to weave your way around everyone else's tents which was a little dangerous with the tent pegs but doable.
Bathroom facilities were nice, and there were a lot of them. You do have to pay to shower but this is common in northern europe.
Getting into Munich is pretty easy. You can either catch a bus to the metro. Or you can walk (probably about quarter to half a mile, though sidewalked the whole way and you feel safe). Then you have to go a few stops on the metro but its pretty easy.
As with most camping sites this is what you'd expect from a campsite but it is comfy.
Just an extra warning not about this campsite but about Munich in August, it gets REALLY COLD at night. We went to bed early the nights we stayed here just because it was too cold to hang out outside we wanted to be cuddled in our sleeping bags!
