“Extremely enjoyable”

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night at Hotel Laimer Hof, but is was amazing. Everything that we read about Sebastian & his staff is true. Actually, Jan was as big a help when Sebastian was not there. They mapped out everything we wanted to do & offered other great suggestions. We arrived around noon, our room wasn't ready but we left our luggage & took the 5 to 10 min. walk to the Hirschgarten, the largest beer garden in world. Later in the day, we walked 5 min to the Nymphenburg Palace. We had dinner at the corner at an Italian restaurant (Golf?) which was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Before we left the next day, Jan had our train tixs ready & we went into Central Munich for a bit before taking the train to the airport. Being in a foreign country is a bit daunting but the staff here speaks fluent English & allowed us to get around with out any problems or worry.Wonderful stay & wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms have a double door to the hall, so we heard no noise. There is no separate shampoos, etc but liquid soap at the sink & in shower. Have free wifi but had to keep putting a new id & password in. A computer & printer is available in lobby.

We were welcomed by Sebastian who is a very friendly and talkative fellow. The rest of the staff are very friendly as well. The hotel is nice and clean as are most in Germany from our experience. The room we had was quite small, in fact the smallest of any during our 5 week trip and unfortunately the weather was terrible so we ended up spending more time in the room than we normally would. The bathroom was good sized. There a several good restaurants a 5 to 10 minute walk away and the bus to downtown Munich was less than a 10 minute walk away. We only had breakfast once at the hotel. Decent breakfast but it is an extra 10 euros per person. Overall it is a good place to stay in a city where accomodations are expensive.

I read the previous accolades given to Sebastian, Alexandra, Jan, and the rest of the Hotel Laimer Hof team...and they do not do them justice. To say they went out of their way to make the visit comfortable is an understatement! No question went unanswered and no request was too much - thanks for the ice packs for my wife's knee! In fact, I witnessed Jan provide first aid to an injured guest one evening after a rowdy night at Wiesn. The hotel is located in very safe and quiet location next to Nymphenburg Palace and close to transportation that will get you downtown quickly. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and enjoyable. No worries or charge for parking in this neighborhood setting. I've stayed in at least 10 different hotels in Munich and have found the keeper - Laimer Hof!!

We stayed 3 nights on the third floor of this great hotel. The hotel staff is delightful and the breakfast room along with the food was delicious. Are room was large and comfortable. Bathroom is small but ample and efficient. The tram station is 3 blocks away and you can purchase a 1-3day pass right at the front desk of the hotel. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Hotel Laimer Hof while we attended the Octoberfest in September. It was a perfect situation as we could easily walk to the bus to go in and out of the city. Our room was very large with great windows that we could open up all the way to let the cool breezes in. As most other reviews have mentioned Sebastian and staff are the most accomodating and helpful of any place we have stayed. Constantly answering questions with a smile and a laugh...can't imagine doing that all day! The breakfast is more than enough, the property is very clean and there are 2 great restaurants within close walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor in a very large corner room.

Stayed three nights during the beginning of Octoberfest. Sebastian and his staff went out of their way to assist us with tips in getting into the Octoberfest, transportation, restaurants and the like. Their breakfast is impeccable, filled with all sorts of fresh goodies. Rooms are on the smallish side BUT are equipped with all amenities and immaculate. Slept like a baby under the comfortable duvet. The owners have gone out of their way to make comfortable cozy places to sit and have a coffee or drink a beer in their beautiful building on the edge of the park. Would stay here EVERY time I am in Munich!
