This hotel is very new, so it is very modern and very clean. It is a boutique hotel, its design is great and the rooms are very stylish, each one dedicated to one famous book. The location can be good, depending on what you want (was very good for me). I mean, the area could be regarded as downgraded (eg the surrounding blocks have nothing to see or to eat late in the evening), however it is very close to the central station and the underground and it is only a 7 minute walk to Karlsplatz (Stachus). The bathroom and the wash-basin area are very cleverly designed and separated and the beds are enormous (great pillows and duvets)! And the showers are great, especially the waterfall, so relaxing! The only disadvantage was the breakfast, if it is not included in the booking price, it is very expensive. 18 Euros, even for Munich prices, is very pricey. I could have eaten full lunch and drink beers in many local beerhouses for such amount of money. Overall however, it is strongly recommended.

The hotel is very modern and rooms are very clean! Rooms are not huge, but are Ok for a couple if you don't need much extra space. Free Wifi!!!
The hotel is a few blocks walking from old town Munich. The sorrounding of the Hotel are not great but it is safe to walk and you are about five blocks away from the main attractions.
The breakfast area is very nice and modern.
I would recommend this hotel!

Close to the main train station, free wi-fi, friendly staff, very clean and modern room....what more could you want? A bath robe? Ok..it is there! The showers are a luxurious rain/ waterfall style and awesome! Don't miss the sauna downstairs.

We arrived at the Hauptbahnhof in Munich without reservations. The Starbucks has free wi-fi. So, we bought a cup of coffee and began a quick search for a hotel. Most of the hotels in the Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz areas were priced over 200 Euros. We noticed the Eurostars for under 100 Euros. A few years ago, we’d enjoyed staying at their hotel in Portugal. So, we walked over to the hotel. It’s a 3 minute walk; exit by the Starbucks, cross Bayerstrasse and head to the right. Turn between the Le Meridian and Flemings Hotel, the Eurostars is at the end of the street on the corner.
We asked for the best rate at the front desk. She offered same as Hotels.com. Since we collect points, we wanted to book with Hotels.com. She kindly gave us their Wi-fi code and we booked.
It was only 9am; but, our room was ready and she gave us the key.
The standard room was sparkling clean. In fact, the hotel is very new and everything felt so. The room is good size with wooden floors and contemporary furnishings. The king sized bed is comfortable with good sheets. There are electric outlets at the bed side tables. The closet has plenty of hanging space. There’s a safe. There was a good selection of teas and instant coffees with the teapot on the table.
The free wi-fi worked very well even in the room.
The bathroom is very well thought out. The wc is private with a door. The sink with ample counter space and mirror is in the middle. The shower is wonderful with a rain shower fixture with very good water pressure. The towels are average and I found a comfy bathrobe in the closet. The amenities are good. The hairdryer is one of the best I’ve used anywhere in a hotel.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Marienplatz. The location is ideal for guests traveling by train. During the night, we did hear other doors shutting. Otherwise, it was very quiet for a train station hotel.
We checked out next morning.
The Eurostars was perfect for our one-night stay in Munich. Given its proximity to the Marienplatz and the Hauptbahnhof, it is also a good choice for longer stays.

Stayed here over Christmas with two rooms, one of which was a junior suite, the other a regular room. Rooms are clean and bright (especially the suite which had a lot of windows) with great beds. Good shower/bath in the suite. The hotel is located within a 3 minute walk of the railway station, and within 10 minute walk to the Alstadt which is very convenient. The street on which the hotel is located is rather seedy, with a string of casinos and strip bars; however, it seems safe enough.

Breakfast consisted of a wide selection of items that were replenished regularly. My biggest complaint was that the coffee was virtually undrinkable!!!! It was dispensed from an automatic coffee/hot chocolate and was TERRIBLE. How much effort would it take to make some good coffee?

Very attentive staff and friendly. However the front desk was very understaffed on the two occasions I needed it. Upon check-out there was a single attendant trying to dealing with 7 people lined up to check-out. Eventually reinforcements arrived. Probably deserves 3 1/2.

Great hotel, friendly staff and close to all the sights of Munich. 5 minute walk from main train station and a 15 minute walk to Marienplatz and the famous Hofbrauhaus. Great buffet breakfast with a wide selection of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, hot food such as bacon, eggs, hash browns and mushrooms. Rooms were clean and the bathroom/shower was amazing! I never wanted to get out. Only downfall for us, during our week stay, we wanted a couple of relaxing nights watching movies in bed......but there were no English movie channels! But I guess we were in Germany!!

Very nice hotel especially for the price. Rooms were very clean have plenty of space and the bathroom has a luxurious shower. The external door was very heavy so could be difficult for elderly people or children to manage. The street did have some "interesting" venues nearby that suggested that we were not in the best part of town, and this could be an issue for young or single women who needed to be out at night, but for a family or a couple this is a great choice.
