This hotel is very new, so it is very modern and very clean. It is a boutique hotel, its design is great and the rooms are very stylish, each one dedicated to one famous book. The location can be good, depending on what you want (was very good for me). I mean, the area could be regarded as downgraded (eg the surrounding blocks have nothing to see or to eat late in the evening), however it is very close to the central station and the underground and it is only a 7 minute walk to Karlsplatz (Stachus). The bathroom and the wash-basin area are very cleverly designed and separated and the beds are enormous (great pillows and duvets)! And the showers are great, especially the waterfall, so relaxing! The only disadvantage was the breakfast, if it is not included in the booking price, it is very expensive. 18 Euros, even for Munich prices, is very pricey. I could have eaten full lunch and drink beers in many local beerhouses for such amount of money. Overall however, it is strongly recommended.
