My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in December, during the Christmas Market season.
We chose the hotel as it was close to the main train station and Marienplatz (historical town centre). And it was really close! It is only 5-10 minutes' walk from the train and U-bahn Station (great when coming from and going to the Airport) and about 10-15 minutes' walk from the town centre.
As some people have said, the area may look a bit out-there, but it is not. Yes, there are Turkish take-aways, and yes, there are a few strip-clubs, but the area was safe to walk around and stay in, and it was also very quiet. A few minutes' walk and you get to shops, restaurant and more well-know take-aways (McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut).
The hotel itself is modern and well decorated. Our room was on the 4th floor and was spacious and always warm, which was really appreciated during the very cold December weather in Munich. It was clean, comfortable and featured what anyone would expect: flat screen TV (with English, French, Spanish speaking channels), bathroom with shower and bath, desk and tea/coffee making facilities. We really appreciated the little gesture on arrival: the accomodation staff had placed Christmas Chocolates on our pillow, that was lovely!
The room also has a minibar, with really cheap water, soft drinks and beer (all for €1 a bottle); this was really convenient!
The breakfast was really great, one of the best we have had in Germany. The buffet was really varied: great selection of juices, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, bread, pastries/cakes cheese. Really a lot of everything. There were continental choices but also scrambled eggs and cold meats, which was a nice touch. We really loved the "Stolen" (German Christmas cake) they had available in the morning at the buffet.
The hotel was really lovely and the staff was professional and helpful.
We cannot fault this hotel, and if coming back to Munich, this is definitely going to be our first choice!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view on the backyard. It is not the most beautiful looking view, but you are g...

On the way back from a month business trip in Asia I traveled to Munich for a trade show. I was tired and a little sick. But the atmosphere, the staff and overall any services offerd at this hotel helped me to recover fast and attend the trade show in a fair shape.
The location is excellent. A kind of ethnic around the hotel, but that did not bother me at all. If you walk 5 minutes around you are in a nice residential area with many kind of restaurants.
I will recommend to my friends and I will plan to return here during my next visit to Munich
thank you

Found hotel easily as near station. Tried to book in at 1200 , no problem. Parked car no problem.
Went out for day and staff helpful advising where to eat. Room good aqdequate warm shower.
Not back till later and heating seemed to have gone off before we turned radiators up but nice and warm in morning. Breakfast better than average. Only detraction was police cars but not much you can do about that in a city.

Room Tip: Some double some twin so ask for your preference

My sister and I have just stayed 5 nights at this hotel and it was our 3rd visit. It simply ticks al the boxes for us - nice comfortable rooms, great location to the train station and city (both being an easy walk), one of the best breakfasts in the world and very caring, friendly and knowledgable staff. What more could you want? We highly recommend it!

I have stayed in this hotel a few days un june, it was a very warm week in Munich, and there wasn't air conditioned in the room, the room was in the first floor and i could hear all the people and nice from the street, next morning I asked to change the room, the staff was very kind at all times and offered me a room that was not facing the main street, is was much better.
The breakfast was good. But in my opinion the room price was very high.

This hotel is really nice, I personally really like the gray/purple color schemes. But more importantly it provides everything you might need - good location (ok, so the neighborhood is not Notting Hill but it's literally 200m from the station and 5-10 min walk to the center), comfy bed, superclean bathroom, free wifi, free tea/coffee and water, cheap minibar, even a little ironing board!
It's true that the rooms are smaller but they are well furnished and fit everything they need to fit, I call that cozy ;)
The breakfast is great with lots of options and even tiny delicious desserts.
I would definitely stay here again. Word of advice - book on the hotel website!

The hotel was okay. The staff are very nice and the place is very clean but the hotel is teeny tiny and the rooms are extraordinary small- almost claustrophobic. Breakfast is okay- nice scrambled egg. The area is very dodgy- wouldn't recommend staying if you want to visit pubs in the evening time. I wouldn't stay here again but for a basic hotel for business in Munich it suited fine.
