“How Can you miss it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

I had 48 hours in Munich.. very short for such a beautiful city. The Baroque church (Kirche in german) worth the visit, especially when you know that it was nearly destroyed during WWII. A nice church that you must see.

“Absolutely stunning!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

The baroque interior of this church is incredible and definitely worth a quick visit. There is so much intricacy and the plain white interior really does help to bring out all the fine details. It is located in Odeonsplatz just opposite the Munich Residence, and for €2 Mon-Sat you can visit the crypt (however we visited on a Sunday and therefore were not able to see it)
The exterior is under construction and is covered in scaffolding, which made it a little difficult for us to find.

“Baroque fatigue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

I think this was our sixth church before noon...and together with the major scaffolding out front, it just didn't impress as much as some of the others.

“Baroque church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

This church is really beautiful. It has an amazing baroque exterior.. However at the moment it's beauty is somewhat spoilt, by scaffolding. Inside it is very small, but so ornate. Definitely worth a visit

“Incredible Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

The interior of this church is amazing! The detail, the statues, the tombs, the royal box for the king and queen and the underground catacombs displaying coffins of numerous historical figures ( a 2€ price to enter) are all stunning. The history inside this church is vast. One of the most beautiful church interiors I have ever been in.
