Great stay at this hotel. This hotel is not in the centre but that's the plus for me as you get a good nights sleep, having said that the U-bahn is a 2 min walk away and you can be in the centre in 10 mins. The bars and restaurants nearby are all a lot cheaper than the centre, again a plus for me.I got a taxi from the airport(30 mins) because time was short which cost 65 euro.(It is 40 k)Then when I left, I got U-bahn(2 min walk) and S-bahn to the airport (10.50 euro) three changes which are all well signed and took just under an hour. The hotel is nice and clean and the breakfast is plentiful. The reception staff were first class and nothing was to much trouble.I would defiantly stop here again when in Munich.

Room Tip: My room was at the back of the hotel over looking sports fields very quiet at night.

We chose this hotel because the room had a kitchenette, which meant we could prepare some of our own meals. This was great and when we made use of it we were pleasantly surprised to find that the washing up had been done for us while we were out. However, the room was not really large enough for the 3 of us. Annoyingly, it had a table, but only one chair, so we had to perch on the bed to eat. In the bathroom the shower curtain had been fitted in a strange way, effectively reducing the size of the shower and making it difficult to wash. The hotel was quite a way out of town, but it was close to an u-bahn station and a tram stop. The local area was quiet, but there were shops and restaurants close by. A decent breakfast was included in the room rate which made our stay good value for money.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is really good, it's near a U-Bahn stop and a tram, but it's also far enough away from the center of Munich that the restaurants are friendly and well priced.

Our room was newly remodeled and it was great. It was also very clean.

My only issue with the hotel was that the wifi did not reach our room at the end of the hall, so we had to sit in the hallway to use it.

The breakfast was also very good.

Overall, I will use this hotel again when I'm in Munich.

This is quite a nice hotel to stay in - clean, good sized room and comfortable beds. Our bathroom was very small. Buffet breakfast was included in our booking and was very good (a pity there was no toaster for the bread). As other reviewers have said, the light rail is close by and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. However, be aware that (i) the lift only stops every 2nd floor and (ii) contrary to the experience of another recent reviewer, the car parking is almost non-existent. Management informed us that the underground car park was full and that there are 4 spaces in front of the hotel which were on a first come first served basis. If they were full you had to find your own parking spot on the street. We had to find a parking spot on the street 3 out of 4 nights. On reading another recent review we now discover that there are washers and dryers in the basement. Disappointingly we were told by staff that the only way we could wash our clothes was by leaving them at reception to be cleaned at the laundry across the road. Beware, do not use this service as the cost is astronomical. What is really quite a good hotel is let down by the extras.

We stayed in the family room at this hotel in late May 2013.

In summary the place is excellent value, well equipped, up to date and roomy, but in a quiet Eastern suburb.

The family room is 80 m sq (800 sq ft) with more than enough space for a family of 4. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 baths and a lovely outlook over woods and gardens.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast - in the continental style - was fresh, ample and unhurried.

The place has a useful gym and has good Wi Fi throughout.

There are both U Bahn and Tram stops nearby, and plenty of places to eat out in the evening again all close by.

Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Family room is equivalent to a good sized apartment

Tucked away in a quiet back street but had resturants and bard closeby, Not pretty from the outside, just concrete walls but plants growing up them hid the worst, parking available onsite.
Arrived to find they had no rooms of the size we booked, but they upgraded us immediately to a family room with no extra cost. Try to get a room at the back of the hotel a liitle quieter (although all rooms are failrly quiet) but most importantly closer to the breakfast room. All receptionists were very helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was Continental style but plenty to choose from and venue was great, surrounded by a small garden and loads of trees.
Spent the day we left in Munich and they looked after our suitcases even though we had checked out.

Room Tip: Ask for a larger room you might get upgraded for free. Long walk to Breakfast if you are at the fro...
