“Excellent!”
Reviewed 13 November 2012

We had high expectations and Restaurant Terrine did fulfill them.
We ordered Chefs menu(6 courses) and wine menu.
The wine did match the food perfectly for all courses.
If you want a culinary adventure, this is the place for you.

“Youthful enthusiasm and a great result”
Reviewed 17 September 2012

First point - this is down a passage by 89 Amalienstrasse, rather than on the main street. But once we'd found it, we were caught up in the enthusiasm of the young staff and chefs. Great food - the vichyssoise is just perfect, and the staff were full of good comments and advice In advance. The very young wine waiter was great - happy to talk enthusiastically about his list, and confident in his recommendations. A mistake - they brought something we hadn't ordered - was swiftly rectified, and if anything they apologised too often afterwards, but that is hardly something to spoil an evening. Really good, a quality part of a great city.

“Excellent restaurant”
Reviewed 13 September 2012 via mobile

We went for the full menu. The Chef was very inspired and surprised us in a positive way. Food was brillant and each course came with a different glass of wine. Wine was from Germany, France and Spain - top quality each time. A great place to have a fantastic dinner !

“very overrated”
Reviewed 7 June 2012

i had high expectations, after all this is deemed one of the gourmet venues of munich.

no clue why and how they came to this fame, i found this place to be extremely mediocre and way below what u would expect of a famous restaurant.

given the high prices, i would have expected to get a "culinary explosion" on my tastebuds, but that was absolutely not the case. my beef was over-seasoned, very disappointing overall.

“Hard to find, easy to love”
Reviewed 20 May 2012

This is a gem of a restaurant for food junkies like us. We had the surprise menu and it was everything you could ask for and more. Wine suggestions were knowledgable, staff were nice, easygoing, helpful and fast. Prices: Not cheap but not super expensive.

Terrine is a bit hard to find though, but its worth the trouble. It is in a rather descreet passage to Türkisch Strasse, and not in the first och second opening but in the last. And even tricky to find there...

Go there anyway! You'll love it.
