We eat here every time we visit Munich and it gets better every time. Service, especially with the wine, was attentive and helpful. Food was innovative and flavors perfectly balanced.

Will eat here again next visit.

This is the place to go when you want to experience gourmet German/Bavarian food and are tired of the rowdy beer halls. This is a historic place and would likely be very cozy in winter with all dark wood, white table cloths and some wood cracking in the chimney. Alas, we were there in the summer and it was quite empty. The restaurant has a few table outside on the sidewalk but even with limited traffic and being in full sunshine at lunch time we decided to eat inside. The food is delicious and very well prepared. We were there on a Saturday and few people know that the menu for lunch is a three-course affair and you can chose a wine-paring if you are into German wines. The menu changes every week We had a slightly tomato salad on bread, followed by a very fine Wiener Schnitzel - some sweet spots on the meat we could not decipher (sweet mustard?) and a succulent potato salad. The wines were all from Germany and were good - a bit fruity and the red lacked a bit of sun - but overall acceptable. dessert was good but I left to the kids who loved it.

One of my favorite Bavarian cuisine restaurant in Munich. Good selection of wine and drinks to accompany your meal. I had a very good broth and a duck breast that was delicious. It is more expensive than regular Bavarian restaurants, but worth it.

We stumbled across this restaurant when searching for a place to take a glass of wine before dinner the night before. This was a wonderful relaxing place to come in to. Really cozy and welcoming. We looked at the menu and booked a table for the next evening.
We were warmly welcomed when returning, got a very friendly waiter to help us out with explanations for the menu. We hade the 5 course pre set menu with wine pairings. It was really good. Especially one of the starters with ravioli and duck, it flavours were fabulous. The matching wine changed completely and got a fantastic taste.
We definitely recommend to book a table here, the menu is really nice with many traditional meals.

This is a very warm and inviting place. We decided on the tasting menu and were glad we did- experienced some lovely local foods and the wine pairings complimented it quite well. Good portion size so felt very satisfied. Lovely, clean place with friendly service.
