After a good experience last year, we went back this year, hoping for the same experience. The waiter brought the wrong meal for two out of three ordered, pork instead of beef. He claimed that there were two "Försterin Art" meals (i.e., mushroom sauce) on the menu, but it turned out that this was a blatant lie. Although there are several meals with mushroom sauce (one beef, one pork), only the beef one is actually called Försterin Style, the other is not. He then told us that it would take half an hour to get a replacement with what we ordered, so we only had the option to take what he brought or wait an unreasonably long time, while watching the third person eat what he had, so we reluctantly ended up eating the wrong meal because we were unwilling to wait that long. We then asked to see the manager, who even after a 15 to 20 minute wait did not show up. After several unsuccessful requests to see the manager (she never came), we were forced to pay full fare and left.
Subsequently, we complained by email about the incident and received a response, that included an explanation that the manager, who apparently was the (co-)owner, was too busy to respond to our request to speak to her did, which is quite unfathomable considering the amount of time she made us wait. We were not offered any attempt to rectify the situation, but were advised that, if it would "satisfy" us, we were free to give a bad review on Tripadvisor. Well, here it is. This has been the worst service I have received in a very long time, the worst response treatment by a restaurant manager (basically ignoring us) and a terribly misguided response to a written complaint. Note: all communication took place in German, my native language, so there is no chance of misunderstanding anywhere along the way. This was my third - and last - visit to this restaurant.
