B&B Hotel Nuernberg-City
Ranked #24 of 126 Hotels in Nuremberg
Reviewed 1 August 2011

B & B Nuernberg was clean and comfortable, just on the outside of the City Wall, ( a short walk across one road), and within walking distance of the Train Station & restaurants.
We had a nice breakfast before we set off to explore the Old Town.
Staff were helpful.
Checkout is at 12 noon which is a bonus if u go looking through the Old Town before you leave.
For a budget Hotel we were happy here and would stay again.

Simple room with free wifi . As we bring with heavy luggage, take 10min walk seem hard for us.

I do think this hotel provide what we want with this price. Staff is helpful + smile provide.

We chose this hotel because of its location, just across the old city walls, in the very centre of this small and charming town. The hotel has its own underground garage and the U-bahn stop literally next to the hotel door, but we didn't need it since we were right in the centre.

We were surprised there were no room cards and you pay upfront, since there's no check-out, you just leave your room until noon. You get one paper with written PIN code to enter the room and the garage. The rooms are comfortable, big and nice. The bathroom is also big and functional. They provide free wi-fi and there's a table to put a laptop in the room. The hotel really has no faults, but maybe they could do something about the hallways which look like cheap motels from american movies and do not represent the hotel in a right way. If you're staying for one or two nights, this is the right place.

Very good value. This hotel is similar to an Ibis but a better value. We rented a double and a triple room. Both rooms were very clean and modern. The doors have a combination pad lock. The hotel is situated close to the center and across the street from the walled city. The staff is friendly. The building is new and very modern. The breakfast was not included in the room price but was a reasonably good value. The selection was extensive and the facilities were comfortable. We would clearly select this hotel over the Ibis in the future. The only negative is that the garage fills up early and afternoon arrivals have to find on street parking.

Clean, bright and spacious rooms. Free wifi a great bonus. Good shower with excellent water pressure. The location is also great-a short walk from the hbf and right beside a u-bahn station. You can walk into the old town in about 5minutes! We paid €56 for a double - what a bargain. Breakfast is an extra €6.90 pp but is a very good continental buffet, including soft boiled eggs :) for the price, I doubt theres anywhere better to stay ... Highly recommended!!

Very efficient hotel for business or travel. Rooms were fairly small which is common for European Hotels. Room was clean, neat and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was inexpensive and had plenty of choices. Location was just across the street from the old city wall, so we were just minutes from the pedestrian zone and the German Museum. Price was right as well. Would stay here again. No bar or restaurant but there is access to plenty of that nearby.

B&B hotel is very comfortable and clean and convenient to the main train station. The room has good Air conditioning and cools the room in no time. The decor is bright and uplifting.

In checking to wash laundry the hotel service seemed expensive and lengthy. Better way to go is to take the U21 transfer to rennweg station. Within a minute walking distance is trommel wirbel laundromat. It is a quaint little laundry with a70's theme. For a large load use the "John Wayne" washing machine. Dryers are are quick and dry in no time. I have to also mention the staff is very friendly and helpful since I don't speak any German. Wifi is free and available.
