When we found ourselves in the top turret room, we were surprised but pleased. It's not often you get to stay in a room like this, even though it does face onto a busy street. Checkin was good, and the outside seating was a great place to relax, to reflect on the day, and to muse about tomorrow, which is what we do when we travel. European breakfasts are, well, continental, and while here it might not have been as elaborate as some, it was fine. The hotel's location is also good, just two or three tram stops away from the hotel, depending where you get on, is the old city which you enter through a curved passageway and then it opens out before you. Tram tickets are available from the hotel reception. If you want to get to the Museum of the Nuremberg Trials, which you'd probably want to if you come to Nuremberg, you can catch a train, then change to another at the HBF, or you can do as we did, walk the 3.6k and enjoy the bridge and waterwheel on the Pilnitz.
