We stayed in a double private room with use of a shared toilet and bathroom on floor 3.
Our room looked out at the castle wall and the cathedral across the road. It was quite pretty.
The rooms were comfortable with modern décor. Our bed was two single beds pushed together - but this didn't really bother us.
Kitchen on ground level was small but had pretty much everything you would need. Plenty of tables and seating for eating.
Two ipads available for free use of internet in reception area and comfy couches to sit on too.
Staff were friendly and helpful, pointing out good places to eat and things to see.
Bathrooms were really nice, and kept well clean. Very modern, and showers had a rain-head which was lovely. Huge mirror - great for the ladies!
Free Wifi was great - no problems at all.
Overall this place was really nice to stay and I would definitely recommend it.
Pros:
- Cleanliness
- Modern and comfortable
- Value for money
Cons:
- Nothing!

Stayed in the 8 bed dorm and it was a good experience. The rooms are HUGE with giant Windows and lockers for everyone. Kitchen is always clean and lots of new fresh looking utensils. There is even an oven. The bathrooms are also brand new and very posh. Medium shower strength. WiFi works everywhere, especially in the rooms. Breakfast for 5€ is good quality, unlimited and includes any coffee drink you like. This place has more of a hotel feel so if you're alone it may not be what you're looking for but there is a big sitting area beside the kitchen and we definitely did meet people. Staff is really friendly and even let me print something off for free. Location is great, near the train station and in the old part of town. You really can't go wrong here. Would recommend to anyone, even high maintenance people will like it here.

Very good hostel, right in the Old Town, perfect place to start a "walking tour", the staff is very helpful, really better than I expected, but the common area is really small, so almost no integration with other guests besides the ones in your room. Also, no bathrooms on the last floor.

Lovely stay in Nuremberg. Hotel is within the old city wall and walking distance to all the sights within the wall. The room was big and quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Communal baths were incredibly clean and modern, with private stalls that closed from floor to ceiling and very spacious, modern showers. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were friendly.

Located within walking distance from the main train station, we arrived to a private twin room that had a great view of the Opera House. The room had high ceilings and huge windows that gave rise to a feeling of spaciousness. It was also very clean. The level where we were at was pretty quiet when we were there and we felt as if we had the whole bathroom to ourselves! A bathroom with a rain shower, can you believe it? I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Staying there for just few days cost a lot, 18 Euro for a 8-bed dorm with no basin in the room. It was quite close to the Schloss though. The staff was very helpful. Good view from the hostel coz the Fort is just outside the hostel. The beds were noisy.

When I woke up one morning the house keeper pointed at my pillow and said something in German which I didn't understand. She took it away and then put on another bed. I didn't know what was going on until I had to ask the receptionist what she said. She thought that I didn't pay for the bed and grabbed someone pillow from an empty bed and slept with my partner on the same bed.
