Exopensive, but excellent service. Good options for Vegetarians, fish options a bit limited. Great for meat eaters (especially)...
Very nice decor, a bit remote in town if you don't have a car.

Couple of days back, a colleague of mine invited me to join for dinner in this restaurant. Having visited several restaurants in Germany, I along with my family, went there with a lot of skeptcism... as normally, typical German restaurants are 'terrible' for Vegetarians. The restaurant has a fantastic 'open' part, where you can sit in a garden and we were pleasantly surprised when they gave us a menu in English and it was exclusive for Vegetarians!!!!

This was completely unexpected. They even served us with a refreshing fresh 'Cucumber Juice' on the house...

The Veg menu had good choices and the food really tasted well as well.

Overall, a great experience..

We made reservation 10 days in advance, arrived 1/2 hour earlier. Were shown into a little, not very cozy room on the first floor. When we asked why we are not sitting in the main restaurant, they told us: it is being set for a large breakfast... We had an entree/ soup, which were satisfactory, but nothing special. I can say the same about main course. We were not offered a dessert, so we paid and left. Upon looking inside the restaurant window, we could see it was half full.
Also, service could not describe the difference between a Silvaner and Mueller Thurgau.
There are much better restaurants in Nuremberg.
