This is a beautiful historic building with very much style at the end of Regensburg's pedestrian area. Most of the interesting sights can be reached by foot, including the Thurn & Taxis palace and the cathedral. But beware that there will be no air condition in the rooms and that there is no elevator from the underground car park to the reception, so it is advisable to bring your luggage to the lobby before parking the car. Also there will be some noise from the street at night because there are pubs in the vicinity. On the other hand, it means that you will have plenty of occasions for going out.

Staff is very friendly and food is excellent.

Our room had wooden floors, high ceilings, and large windows that looked out onto a park. Its location was perfect: at the corner of the old town, with the train station an easy walk away. Arriving by car and departing by train, this was the perfect combination for us. Parking is easy, in a garage underneath the hotel. The staff was helpful, the wifi strong, and the breakfasts downstairs ample and delicious. BUT the hotel is not air-conditioned, and during the heat of summer this can be a problem.

Looks great from the outside. But located by a noisy and down market part of the city. Room comfortable. No a/c so open windows can mean noise-disturbed nights in summer.
Car park is underground and one of the worst I've ever encountered. One has to load/unload baggage before/after descending/ascending. There is a risk of meeting a car travelling the other way while ascending/descending via the same ramp. No lift from car park. I suppose a porter might be found, but no sign of any.
Breakfast was basic, and some camembert butter I tried was rancid, with predictable tummy-related results.
But all the staff were extremely helpful. Not their fault. Investment needed. I wouldn't stay there again.

Room tip: Ask for a quiet one. There are no views to worry about missing!

The hotel is in an excellent location: 5 min from the station, on a pleasant park, 5 minutes walk from the towncentre. There are quite a few homeless people in the park in the evenings but the hotel is not bothered by it. The hotel has an underground parking garage, at 13 euros a day. It looks splendid and one feels like royalty in the ample breakfast rooms. The rooms are fine, slightly old-fashioned in colour scheme but with good conveniences. The shower is in a bathtub , which I am not keen on as it increases the chances of slipping up. Care needs to be taken!
For the rest , it was a pleasure to walk back to one's hotel at the end of a day in wonderful Regensburg

5 minutes walk from the train station, this hotel is ideal to walk the town. Very elegant by his achitecture and decorations, yellow with white details, very grand . The room was quite
large with big windows; separate bathroom from toilet, practicle
Good service and right at the pedestrian street that goes all the way to the Cathedral.Resonnable priced breakfast included,
hot and cold. Spectacular hotel in a magnificent town.
