“Natural & comfortable”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

Good location nearby train station just 5mins walk, however, you have to get into the gate and go thru the little garden before you can reach the hotel reception, or you may easily miss the entrance. The room was clean & tidy, very spacious with a large sofa that's giving you a home feel but also like service apartment!
Green & purple soft colour tone represented the hotel main theme, very natural environment! But, it's a very localised property, everything displayed in Deutsch or even a welcome letter placed on the bed (I assume it was a welcome message), hardly find English translate!

The hearty breakfast arrangement with guest names' cardboard presented on table in the breakfast room, felt like you had a table reserved.

Room Tip: Try to request higher floor and rooms not facing the street to avoid traffic nosiy.

When i made the booking i didn't realize that this hotel is on the grounds of the Diako hospital. You encounter the old nuns when you walk around the hotel. Also in the hotel you get a bit of a "churchy" feeling. It's nice though. It's a very clean hotel. Rooms are big and beds are good (if you like a firm bed). No airco in the room. City centre is just a short walk away.

The hotel is located very close to the train station (<5 min walk) and to city-center (5 min walk) in a block with a childrengarden and an hospital. It seems to be a religious structure, but this doesn't affect the function of the hotel. The rooms are nice, relativly big (double bed, plus a small room with a couch and a table) and with a pretty nice bathroom (huge shower). They have a wooden floor and a very minimal style. Functional style can easily give the feeling of "cheap and boring", while in this case I had a really good feeling and I loved it. The breakfast-buffet is extremely rich and continuosuly refilled by a very attentive and polite staff.
The only issue to take into consideration is that the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, so if you go there during summer... this could be an issue.

If I'm coming to Augusburg again... I'll definetely stay there!

Don't be put off by the fact that this shares grounds with a hospital. it's a functional good value hotel with clean rooms and a typical breakfast buffet. A short walk to the town centre and railway station, parking in a nearby public car park is good value at €5 for 24 hours.

The hotel is located in the middle of acomplex combining a hospital, a senior center, a convention center and a kindergarten (?!) which is strange.
The rooms are big but very simple and the whole thing lacks character. Not proportional to the price .
It is conveniently close to train station, and not too far from the center.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. No major disappointments, only: the people at the reception desk were not at hold of things usually, breakfast was poor and practically there was no lobby. But the rooms were OK, clean and well heated. The location is central and there is a very nice historical beer garden close to the hotel. So you should not expect anything above the average from this hotel. 2.5 out of 5.

While all Munich hotels werw full,I stayef the night over at this hotel. 30 mins by ICE from MUC. Eco hotel, with small room. Location bit strange, next to hospital, but that did not disturb. On walking distance a beer garden. I missed free wlan. The bathroom was very basic.
