After a few days of sauerbraten, etc. just wanted a change of pace. The Amalfi far exceeded our expectations. The wait staff and owner were the friendilest we encountered in Germany despite a packed house on a Thursday night. The owner recommended a dish featuring fresh truffles over argula and beef carparccio - perfectly dressed with olive oil with a touch of lemon. While this was the most outstanding dish of the evening, everything was delicious. Only regret is that we could not come another evening.
