Exceptional staff and customer care, wonderful breakfast with superb variety that surpassed all expectations, lovely comfortable and spacious rooms, set in beautiful parkland, great location close to old town and Ludwig's castles, a fine example of great German hospitality - highly recommended and will definitely return. Outstanding value for money.

My checkin was great. The young woman who checked me in late was very informative and helpful. I was given a card that allows free admission to a lot of places and a free ride on the buses as well. Great place to relax and unwind while touring the sights. My room even had direct access to the balcony right above the front entrance. The two saunas were a nice way to end the days spent at Villa Toscana. The one on the right is super hot! Awesome! A separate billiard room downstairs near the entrance was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was very nice. I could tell the staff take great pride in interacting with guests and being available to address our needs. The hotel is a short walk to the center of town where the buses stop next to the train station. I hope I can make it out during the summer months this year. Thanks again, Villa Toscana!

Perfect location for our castle touring trip. A lucky find online brought us here. My single room had a view of the woods and a spacious bath plus a good wifi signal. Free parking. The breakfast buffet more than met our expectations and tastes. The hotel offers spa services which is nice is a not large hotel. Hotel is a short walking distance to town. Would stay here again if in the area.

A lovely hotel in a countryside setting. There is free parking and only a short walk to town. The breakfast was good with a good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bar in the hotel and the prices were reasonable. The only downside for us was our room was next to the lift and even though it is not in use in the night , it did wake us up in the morning .

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the lifts as these can be noisy in the morning.

The location and presentation of Villa Toscana is brilliant if you love to be amongst the scenery and are happy just a little out of town. In the sunny season you could probably walk into town, though in the cooler or wet months you definitely want a car! The bush land surrounds and views to the mountain tops are wonderful, simply stunning. The garden are well kept and the building itself has been so tastefully decorated.
The spa is a bit of a let down, not as indulgent as we'd have hoped. They could definitely develop this part of the business a lot better. It's well set out, just not staffed all the time, only for bookings. Service is fine and the therapists are lovely, when you do book a treatment.
Well worth a visit and we'd stay again for sure.
