Probably the best all round German meal we had during our trip. A mix of stuffed trout a German mixed grill and schnitzel, all were excellent, accompanied with a great wine list and easily the sweetest waitress in the world....Milena.
I wonder if she's a descendent of the family?

Little to add to others' good experiences. Menus are in English. Food and drink excellent with OK prices. Quite a lot of locals seem to eat here as well as visitors. If you reserve a table indoors the incredibly helpful and overworked waitress will move you outside when a table becomes available.

Wonderful restaurant. Our tour guide Fredrico recommended we stop here for dinner. We were on a tight schedule to catch a train back to Munich. We were assigned an English speaking waitress. We told her we needed to catch the train. She accommodated us. The restaurant was busy and she put our orders in we believe ahead of others. The food was amazing. We had the regional sampler plate and the roast beef with the regional speciality of spätzle with cheese and onions. We wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and desserts. Highly recommended.

The last night of our cycling holiday we decided to treat ourselves and this was the place we chose. It turned out to be a great choice. Attentive staff, copious wine and some excellent rump steaks made it a good night out. The starters were good too I had a white sausage and onion soup which is a speciality of Munich.

Great ambience, very comfortable setting. It's a very popular place as we got the last remaining free table and several diners were turned away, so get there early or book in advance.
