We were so hungry after touring Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, but were hitting an "off-time" for lunch. It was around 2:30pm, and many German restaurants close between lunch and dinner. We went to a couple of places, and it was closed. I decided to call this place, and the lady was very friendly over the telephone, and they were open! Woo hoo!
It was such a cute, quaint restaurant located next to a lake. The food did not disappoint! It was so delicious and prepared very well. We have lived in Germany for about 2 years now, and have had our fair share of schnitzels. The wiener schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel were awesome, the spargel soup is yummy, and the Dornfelder and Riesling wine were great too. We have to say that this place serves top-notch quality food with great flavor.
Our waitress was VERY friendly and attentive! She answered all of our questions and was so pleasant to talk to.
It was an awesome experience that enhanced our memories of this trip down to Bavaria. :)
