I'm not a vegetarian but like food and interesting food. Cookies Cream delivers. Try the tasting menu. New flavors, and you won't miss the meat. But be forewarned, it's impossible to find if you don't know how to find it. Get directions before you go, otherwise you will not arrive. By the way, we had great service so don't be put off by reviews complaining of bad service.

We came here expecting high class vegetarian cuisine and were not disappointed. It took a little effort to find, but was well worth the effort. We weren't allowed to take pictures but the food looked truly stunning, and tasted the same. The leeks with horseradish and sesame such contrasts of colour, texture and tastes and brioche with egg with super soft egg yolk and rich brioches to start. Followed by spargel with barley, with such delicate layers of white asparagus and gutsy umami miso sauce and finally pillow soft knudel topped with pine nuts with lovely parmesan running through matched by warming truffle beneath. Finally, for dessert we went for the cookie, topped with sour dried cherries and fresh blackcurrant and deep deep dark chocolate ganache and the rhurbarb pie, with crunchy buttery crumble topping, smooth mascarpone, tender rhubarb and surprisingly tangy cicely ice-cream. Stunning. Only slight fly in the ointment was the waitress was hard work (cold, curt, but not rude) where as other tables seemed to enjoy slightly more care and attention e.g. sitting down and explaining what was what. Hence the 4 not 5 stars.

My daughter and I were treated to a spectacular meal of assorted and wonderful flavours trying as many dishes as we could and sharing everything. How did they make caviar out of seaweed? Delicious. We elected to have the wine pairing and were spoiled with 7 different , all totally wonderful and unusual wines. Their sommelier, Italian Kevin, is to be particularly commended.

Excellent restaurant, vegetarian or not. Some of the dishes, mushroom soup and grilled eggplant, can easily be a signature dish in a Michelin 3 star restaurant. Other dishes such as the caviar was quite ordinary. Perhaps they were included in the tasting menu because of the relatively more expensive ingredients to satisfy the value conscious crowd. I would have preferred to see more dishes that can show off the extraordinary cooking skill of the chef. Service is very friendly and efficient.

I went to Cookies and Cream with a few friends last week. The food was so beautiful. It was a shame to actually eat it! But when we did? It was excellent. The menu is inventive and appealing. Each first and second course was described in such a scrumptious fashion. We ordered almost one of everything! The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, cozy and actually very young and funky. I will say that the portions are tiny so I would recommend adding an extra portion of one thing or another if you like a heftier meal. Excellent evening out.
