Stayed at Elvis apartment, which was nice & clean, well equipped with appliances and tastefully decorated. Extremely good value for money and situated in the coolest district of Berlin - Prenzlauer-Berg. Staff were helpful and accessible, if required.

I stayed in the James-apartment for nine days in in June which is located near Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg. First of all, the people running this business are very friendly and easy to communicate with. If there was any problems at all, I could just pick up the phone and someone would be there during 4-5 minutes fixing the problem. The apartment is on the first floor and has a hallway, bath room with bath tub, large combined living room and bed room and a well equipped kitchen. When you enter the apartment you get a nice and cool feeling. It was pretty warm in Berlin during my stay, so the cool temperature in the apartment helped a lot. The apartment is equipped with for radiators; one in the bath room, one in the kitchen and two in the living room. These are all controlled from a remote control unit on the wall in the living room. It can be kind of tricky to understand every configuration if you're not familiar with the system, so download the user manual on the manufacturer's website or you might end up either very warm or very cold ;)
Kitchen has all the necesary equipment including a coffee machine and a microwave. Be aware that the kitchen does not have any oven or dishwasher. In the living room you'll find a large queen size bed, a sofa (that can be transformed into a bed), a coffee table and a dining table. You also have a closet and a chest of drawers, a small LCD TV with integrated DVD player and a small stereo. The apartment is equipped with free WiFi, but the signal can be a bit weak in some parts of the apartment. I was very satisfied with this apartment, and it's also a lot bigger than it looks on the pictures. I do hope they install a WiFi extender to provide better signals though.

Getting here is easy. From Flughafen Schönefeld: DB Regional train to Alexanderplatz. Change here to U-bahn line U2 direction Pankow and exit at Eberswalder Straße. Walk two blocks north to Buchholzer Straße. Turn right and follow Buchholzer Straße to the next street and turn left and follow Greifenhagenerstraße a few meters. Number 64 is right around the corner on your left side.
You can also take the DB Regional train to Hackescher Markt and change tom Metro Tram M1 to Milastraße. The tram stop Milastraße in northbound direction stops at the corner of Buchholzer Straße.

U2 station Eberswalder Straße U is located just 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment. The U2-line provides you with easy access to well known places like Alexanderplatz, Potzdamer Platz, the Schöneberg district and Berlin Zoologischer Garten. Metro Tramline M1 stops right outside the building at the stop Milastraße. M1 southbound direction terminates at Hackescher Markt which is a well known part of Berlin for its night life and culture.

My partner and I stayed in the "Steve McQueen" themed apartment for a few nights in Jan 2012. For both of us this was our first trip to Berlin and we are very happy that we chose to go with this apartment. Very clean, very cool, a friendly owner and a great location that all contributed to a perfect stay. Loads of places to eat/drink nearby, really close to the underground, and all-in-all a great chance to experience modern-day East Berlin.

I booked the Elvis themed apartment to visit family in Berlin and was very happy with it. The location was great in a very prettty street close to nice restaurants on Eberswalde Str and Oderberger Str.

The apartment was clean and really spacious, with a decent size living space and a nice, modern kitchen. It's on the ground floor too which was handy. The microphone and guitar were nice touches.

I was met on arrival by one of the friendly owners and offered more towels etc if I needed them. Everything worked well and I would stay here again if i return to Berlin.

I'm a graduate student who comes to Berlin from time to time to do research. I rented an apartment in Prenzlauer Berg for a month and was extremely happy with the location and with the apartment and service overall. The apartment is right near the M1 tram line, which takes you directly to Mitte, the HU, Unter den Linden, and lots of other great places. And it's also on the U2 line, which gets you to Potsdamer Platz, the Stabi, and everywhere else. For going out, though, I often just stayed in the area. Prenzlauer Berg is full of restaurants, clubs, cafes, and bars that were within walking distance of the apartment. The place was clean and completely stocked with everything I needed for my extended stay. It felt nice having such a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day, and really started to feel like home by the end of the month. The owner was very welcoming and willing to answer a lot of questions I had about the area, places to go, transportation, etc. I'd recommend the apartment to anyone who has work to do in Berlin, but also anyone who just wants to come and have a good time in the city.
