Again to Berlin for the very many museums and the nice shops. This time to a really 4* design hotel. Because of a traffic jam we arrived aroud 19.00 hour in the hotel and parked free in the hotel parking. The receptionist wanted us to sell a bigger room than the superior room we had booked. Unfortunately she did not show as the superior room, but two identical bigger rooms. we were tired and wanted as quick as possible to go to our room. It is a pitty that the hotel is misleading in this way the visitor's. But the design of the hotel is fantastic. So was our room also, a great shower, perfect beds, a huge flat screen and well working WIFI. Breakfast was perfect, only the left breakfast room was to our opinion to crowdy, you use the right breakfast room. The architect(s) presumably did not like signs suchs as reception, breafast room or dinner, but the personel was very helpfull. The hotel is situated at the far end of the Landsberger Allee, close to the S- and U-Bahn. Around the hotel there were a view resturants, but the transportation system in Berlin is perfect, so many times we used the tram to the Hackischer Markt for dinner. One time we had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, perfect. We presume the restaurant is heading for his first Michelin star.

Room Tip: All rooms are ok, but superior does not mean anything; also the rooms situated at the inner court ar...

We stayed at Andels, Berlin in June for 3 days at the start of a 3 month trip, heading to south east Asia and wanted to stay some where “a bit special” which the Andels was.
Our bedroom and bathroom were huge (our bags looked slightly lost in the walk in wardrobe!) and spotlessly clean. Free wifi, cable TV, fridge and kettle and lovely soft bed. Very trendy with the decorations. The breakfast buffet (in with the price) was enough to keep us going until dinner and had every breakfast food item you could want and more.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions. Train station and tram directly opposite hotel. The only drawback we felt, was that we seemed to be out of the way from any choice of restaurants and bars but then there was the tram.
A lovely place to stay. One of those hotels that when you get into your room and the hotel toweling robe, you don’t want to leave.

It's nearby the public transportation who will bring you very quickly to the centre of the town. The rooms are not so spacious (standard rooms) but very clean and beautifull and modern. We had a room with a view on the garden in the centre of the hotel. The breakfast was very good!! Many choices! The spa is also good, not so big, but enough to relax after a busy day visting Berlin. There are changing rooms at the spa and you also can get towels there.

Modern, stylish and very comfortable accommodation, plus really friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Views from Sky Bar are stunning. We could not fault Andel's. Really good value. It is not a city centre hotel, but is only a short ride to the centre using the frequent tram services which stopped just outside the hotel. The price included 'The Berlin Welcome Card' giving reduced prices to many attractions plus free travel throughout Berlin on trams/tube and trains for 3 full day. We really enjoyed our stay and can thoroughly recommend Andel's Hotel.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the main road - but there was no road noise. The room was very well appointed wi...

I'm not quite sure I would give Andel's a 'trendiest' award as Trip Advisor have, but it's not a bad place to stay in Berlin. It's clean, modern and VERY big. The staff do a great job of dealing with huge numbers of guests - it's very much a business/conference hotel. The standard room we stayed in was a little on the small side, but nicely decorated with a good bathroom. The property is so big, that you should be prepared for a long walk from the lift to your room - it really is vast. The sky bar is great, and well worth a visit. I didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is a relatively good standard, with lots of options. Again though, due to the size of the hotel, be prepared to share your breakfast with a large amount of people! The immediate location isn't great - there's a cafe, small shopping centre, japanese restaurant and pizzeria just over the road, but if you hop on the tram or S-Bahn (right outside the hotel) you'll be in central berlin in no time.I didn't try the gym/spa facilities but I'm sure they were of a good standard. The mini bar prices were disappointingly high though - I always think if they were reasonable, we'd empty the thing but hey ho. Room service menu didn't look to great, so we opted for takeaway pizza one lazy evening. Overall, good value, a decent hotel - but not sure it's the trendiest place to stay in Berlin!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor and near the lift if you don't fancy a long walk!

Clean, modern with exemplary service throughout. Excellent rooms, lobby and breakfasts. Whilst this hotel is out of town it is so easily reached by the fast, efficient and frequent trams right across the road. Sky bar is well worth having a drink in. Highly recommended !

Room Tip: All rooms are good I would imagine

Very good, stylish decorated hotel. Spacious and clean rooms and very practical to use.
The staff is very friendly and you should use the magnificent Sky-Bar, on the 14th floor where you can drink very tasty coctails and more.
Although it`s a very large hotel with more then 500 rooms, we never had the feeling of being in a crowded hotel (exept during the breakfast maybe). The rooms are well isolated so we didn`t hear anything. Very good breakfast with lots of choice and a fast and frequent connection to the center of Berlin.
We really loved the hotel and would come back to it!
