My partner and I arrived late last night in Berlin. We are staying at the Mercure and found Appetito was the one of the closer restaurants...we were very tired and looking for a tasty and comfortable! Service was very friendly, two Italian men attending to all tables, singing to Frank Sinatra music that was playing in the background. I ordered a fungi, fromage and precuitto pizza and it was gi-normous!! Made on a kneeded base from scratch (old Italian men working in the back kitchen) and the pizza was larger than life!! Size aside, also very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the the buffalo steak with aubergine and zuccini sauted salad.Very yummy!! Atmosphere was nice and cosy and tables were candle lit (romantic). It was very reasonably priced and were happy to pay a tip!! Will definitely come back here again during our stay.
