Rooms were funky but not over the top and very straightforward. One of the only hotels I've been to and thought "do I need to see the city?!?" You just wanted to stay.
Staff were helpful and had good recommendations. Very central in Mitte. We were visiting friends in Berlin, one who is a food writer, and the staff's suggestions were on their list too.
The cafeteria upstairs was excellent and had an awesome view of the city. I like that it was 24 hours - we spent many a drunken night at the cafeteria eating whatever we wanted when we wrapped op our nights on the town. Food was tasty, inventive and fresh and it's open - you take what you want for free. Except you pay for alcohol.
Gym could have been better but who wants to do that in Berlin!More
