In Sweden we have soo many spa's on the hotels and especially in my hometown so I have visited quite a few. This spa was really ok for it's price :) like 15 Eur in enterence fee and about 5 Eur to lend a nice bathrobe. There were different pools, big and small, warm and cold, inside and outside. Like four different saunas and sun beds. Nothing fancy with massage pools, but for it's price really good. There is also a café serving warm and cold food with drinks. Really nice staff.

One thing - be aware that you are supposed to be naked during your stay in the thermal spa, if you aren't a child or participating in the water gymnastics. We weren't informed until we got in, so if you are shy you might not enjoy it since it's both for men and women.

Hardly an attraction, just a big electrical shopping area.

During my trip to Berlin I decided to spend a couple of hours at Thermen am europca center. They can provide you all you need, but if you bring your own towels you can save about 10 € (29.80 euro for complete package, while only 18.80 admittance fee). you can find a lot of saunas and pools. The best one is the outside pool. I loved the external saunas, you can refresh in the garder after a sauna. Great location on the rooftop of europa center.

The atmosphere of a sauna, starts the moment you arrive. That's not the case in Thermen am Europa Center. The changing rooms, one big hall with lockers, are commun (like usual in Germany), of course woman and men separate. People with bathing suits are exeptional but it's not clear if it's allowed to wear it or not.

The quality of the sauna is very good! There is space enough for everybody (I went during the day). and a big variaty.

The swimming pool is in the center and there are chairs to sit a lay down around the pool. People talking and some children playing in the swimming pool makes it a rather noisy atmosphere coming out of the sauna. There's a separate 'quite' room with good chairs and blankets. Unfortunatly there was no relaxing music to filter away the noise of the pool.

It's a good place for people that prefer a big place with a lot of different sauna's, in the center of the city, with a view on the buildings. If you'd like to eat after the sauna, the restaurant has typical German dishes and a lot of drinks, next to the swimmingpool. The day price is less then €20, which is very good for what you get!

Without a doubt the best spa in Berlin. Great complex refurbished summer 2010 and built on top of the Europa Centre car parks. Large heated indoor and outdoor pool with range of jets and waterfalls. Plenty of saunas - Finnish (aufguss), Bio ++, plus steam room. Garden area for sunbathing, with further sauna. Swimsuits optional in pool but NOT allowed elsewhere (i.e. normal German sauna routine - all very relaxed and nobody stares at you!!). Fully mixed so you can sauna / swim with your partner.
Fantastic restaurant offering high quality home cooked food at very good prices. Good choice of beers, wines, and other drinks. Much cheaper and of better quality than many of the surrounding restaurants in the Ku'damm!
This is a great place to spend the day in a dressing gown and unwind. If you've never done it before, then add an extra day onto your Berlin itinerary and ejoy yourselves.
