I stayed here last week for a night as I wanted to find a hotel within a clients budget, normally I am around in the Interconti. For the price it is fairly well located, there is a decent size lobby to sit and have a drink in. The checkin staff are friendly and efficient.
The rooms are small as is the bathroom, there is open hanging space and another enclosed section near the window. The wifi worked fine, the tv choice is a bit restricted in English but that is pretty normal in Germany. The room was fairly clean and thanks to good glasing and door seals fairly quiet.
If you need a minibar/desk/safe etc then go to a 4*+ hotel, I will be back

Hotel is clean, and rooms are small. Price is quite affordable. Breakfast is OK. Not so good but not bad at all. Minus is that you need to pay everything in advance, and need to announce number of your devices for WiFi acces. WiFi is free. There is no desk for properly work in room, and there is no classic locker in the room. You can hang your chlotes in "open area". Conclusion: good for stay if you are turist and want to see Berlin without spending lots of money for a hotel room.

I have stayed several times at various Motel One hotels, mainly in Berlin. This year my wife and I celebrated new year in Berlin, so we had chosen Motel One Berlin-Tiergarten due to its great location close to the KuDamm for shopping purposes.

Rooms clean and okay spacious, modern decorated etc. You can have breakfast for 7.50 EUR a really fair Price if you have not booked in advance. Service level in reception was really good anything we asked for was done straigt away by very kind and smiling staff.

As Motel is a really value for Money hotel, but you get much more than you expect for the Price.

Parking is 10 Euro per day (fair for a central Berlin location) but its public so you can not reserve or reserve a Space, both other possibilities very close if needed.

The only two small Things we had a a 4 day stay was that the Water in the shower changed temperatures, the cleaning personal forgot extra toilet paper - on minor issues.

Finally to improve I could reccomend a few more enghlish TV channels. Sean Connery in German translation is somehow not so pleasant even though I do speak German :o)

We will definately come back as the mix of location and value for Money just covers our needs perfectly. You get serve better that higher standard hotels, and rooms just as fine or better.

Room Tip: any rooms are fine but I travel a lot and often prefer rooms on the top half of the hotel, as it oft...

My partners company paid for us to spend 2 nights here. The hotel foyer area is spacious and clean, staff very friendly and service exceptional. The rooms are clean, but basic - to be expected, but there is a flat screen tv, comfy beds, storage space, work desk, chair and great showers in all rooms. Note there are no tea and coffee making facilities (but the bar serve tea and coffee) also the hairdryers are not very powerful and don't work well for this reason. The location was good for the Christmas markets and a bit of sightseeing, fairly central. Breakfast was lovely, a buffet with plenty of choice; crossaints, rolls, with jam, honey or butter, eggs, fruit salad and yogurts, continental meats and cheeses, tea, coffee and orange juice. The hotel is immaculately clean. We asked for extra towels and they not only brought spare towels but removed the old ones and did a full room clean and bed change, replenishing everything. -
That was great. Do note; there are no flannels/sponges provided for showering so do pack your own! Also the toilettries provided consist of small bottles of 'hair and body wash' - so women- do bring your own shampoo and conditioner at least. The bar area was great, warm and friendly atmosphere and the bar man made pleasant conversation with us, overall the staff were fantastic and a credit to the hotel. Outside the front of the hotel is a lounge seating area, and a well maintained garden to the rear. All in all would recommend this hotel for your trip to Berlin. Great value for luxury comforts.

Well the place is nice and clean and easy walking distance to the metro and the main shopping strip

the breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful

couple of things to be aware of
1. no phone in the room
2. no fridge/mini bar
3. small bath gel/shampoo bottle -- no separate soap or shampoo
4. i think that the air con appears to power off late at night to save power

Besides the good location I was very disappointed: no telephone in the rooms, no mini bar, no tea and coffee facilities, and worst of all is the air conditioning. From eight in the evening until eight in the morning it is turned off, and during the day you can hardly feel it. A real nightmare on hot days.

good location close to 2 ubahn stations. Clean rooms although did smell of smoke even though non smoking. Parking not so good if you dont get in hotel car park. Close to shopping centre and plenty of restaurants around.
