I stayed last weekend in Sir FK Savigny hotel. Lobby area was nicely decorated and soothing jazz music played ntt too loud. Mobile reception act fast and we were lucky to get our room already 11 AM. Room was situated in garden side and trafic from the street was not disturbing at all. Sometimes S-Bahn made little noise but it was ok. Rooms are small in size and really clean. Nice modern touch in room design. Bed was really good. Few cokes waited in minibar free of charge first filling. Hotel is very near all actions and just otherside of Kantstrasse in very good Vietnamise restauran called Saigon Green. Go there and get surprised!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and loved our time there. We were initially a little hesitant when our room turned out to be next to the elevator, but we never heard any noise. There are only several rooms on each floor, as this is a small boutique hotel, so it was very quiet. Our room was VERY clean and had everything we needed. Rooms were small but not excessively so, and bathroom was modern and fairly spacious with towel warmers. Staff was friendly and helpful with every request. Wifi was not an issue once we realized that we needed separate passwords for each device!!! The Charlottenburg area of Berlin is beautiful and safe with lots of neighborhood restaurants nearby. Ask about the French restaurant on Savigny Platz that is a block away.....delicious! The train literally stops one block away and is safe and easy to use. There is a laundromat close by should you need those services. The hotel lobby had a great modern vibe, with a small fireplace and comfortable seating areas. We loved Berlin and only wanted to stay longer, and we will definitely stay at the F K Savigny on our next visit!!

My first experience in Berlin (after getting past the "officious" border control and being relieved off a little too much cash from my Taxi) was to be greeted with a smile and a drink in a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. For my 4 night stay the entire staff were always professional, but smiling and accommodating and really made me feel like I was at home. The only critique I would have was that the heating was, for me, too high. I had to have a glass of water by the bed each night. Other that that, my experiences, and the memories I take from Berlin are extremely positive and, if ever in Berlin again, I would undoubtably stay here.

Wow, many many thanks for your great feedback! Let me know, if you return to Berlin, we would love to welcoming you again! Regarding the heating, this is controllable in every room separately, it would be my pleasure to show you next time how to reduce it.
Sunny greetings from Berlin!
Your Sir F.K. Savigny

We strongly recommend this hotel for everyone, who is looking for comfort, good location, nice atmosphere. You know you found the right place right after you pass the hotel's entrance and check-in (with welcome drinks). You can spend a great time in a hotel's bar, next to the fireplace or just relax in the garden. But what is really the most important thing is the hotel's location: it's close to the S -bahn and U-bahn stations and bus stops. All peaople from hotel's personel were very nice and helpful. It's a perfect place for couples and for lonely travellers who seek for comfortable accomodation near to the city's centre.

Just returned from a 4 night stay. This trip was booked as a 50th birthday surprise for my hubby and me. What a great place to stay to discover all that berlin has to offer...the train station is just behind the hotel and the fares are very cheap and the network is very easy to understand you can easily access all the main sights from here. Charlottenburg itself is a lovely area...with the main shopping thoroughfare just a stones throw away...designer shops and massive department stores. The hotel itself is lovely very clean and stylish with very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient comfortable place to stay in berlin

Stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2014. Hotel was bright and airy with a contemporary modernist feeling. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was always quiet. (perhaps as we visited in the low season?) We didn't stay for breakfast as 18 Euros per person was a bit pricey as we found other cafes that offered a similar deal for much less. Location was in a quieter area of Charlottenburg with a few decent cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. There was a supermarket, bank and a taxi rank across the road; all of which were handy. Berlin Zoo was about a 20 minute walk and well worth a visit.
