We really enjoyed our weekend at nhow. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and varied. Best hotel breakfast I have tried. The room was ... pink.... but really well designed and cool. Wellnes area was really nice. Service was excellent!
The only glitch: The TV entertainment system was hopelessly slow and mainly shows music channels. And do not open the window after nightfall, hundreds(!) of moscitoes flew in in a few minutes.

The location of this hotel ist not perfect for visitor, who want to see the City; but it is ok to a part of the berlin-scene. The hall looks good, it is a modern styling. On one side of the house there is a normal busy road, but the rooms are quiet. On the other side there you will find the waterfront - if it is possible, take one of this rooms. And now, the rooms: they are not so spacious, but it is ok. Not everybodys thing: the pink colours in the rooms, to much for my opinion.

The nhow Hotel Berlin, Europe's first music hotel, is indeed a special property. The design is very stylish and very pink! They have two record studios on the very top of the building, and I love the jam/interview room with views over the river Spree. The concept is great, yet I would have loved to have experienced a real "rock-star-feeling". Well, you can order a guitar to your room for free, and they do have open mic nights monthly as well as do events and exhibitions for the young and creative crowd of the city. However, most services and amenities do not really differ from other 4-star hotels. Living the music could and should be more visible in things like the breakfast buffet, the restaurant, the concierge desk, the welcome card and treatment etc.
When you look for a nice, stylish hotel experience in Berlin, the nhow is great. The emotional side, however, was not met in our case.

Room Tip: Great bath rooms, nice amenities. Beds uncomfy.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 night.
I had anticipated a good visit because I've read about how trendy this place is.
Well, it is trendy but it has no soul.
First, to survive the stay, you must like pink or be able to appreciate a high dose of it. I went into a pink lift and thought I was swallowed up by Hello Kitty!
The rooms are big for European standards but it was my visit to Germany so perhaps all German hotel rooms are large.
There is no free wifi in the room, and even for the paid version at 10+euros, you cannot download past 500MB! the free wifi is only at the hotel's lobby and it is limited to 30 minutes usage.
The toilet was tiny but could live with that. Still, it was very very pink.
The front office staff really makes you feel like you've just wasted their time. Except for one friendly woman, everyone else was gruff and wouldn't hesitate to bark at you.
Except for the Berlin Wall, there is not much else near the hotel.
And there is no swimming pool in the hotel but there is a gym.
The plusses are:
1. The hotel is near both the U and S Ban stations, so if you need to travel out, it is a 10 minutes walk to the station.
2. The breakfast service inside the - once again - pink restaurant is very good. And probably all the friendly staff work there.
3. The hotel is quite a stunner, and offers a lovely view of the river. And in summertime, it can be enchanting.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the 1st level. It was noisy. I was in room 114 and it faced the carpark.

We only spent a night here and absolutely loved it!
The service was very friendly and efficient. There was always someone at the reception and the bar was open till 2am on a Tuesday.
The design is great and very detailed, even thou we stayed in a room that was completely pink.
Everything is very modern with the TV build into the mirror.
The location is great too. Only short distance from the train stations (easily walkable by foot) and less than 30Euros cab ride from Schoenefeld airport.
I would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone who likes something fresh and boutiquie...
But careful while we got a good prepaid deal any extra costs at the hotel can be a bit pricey (i.e. 22Euros per person for a breakfast).

Good location on river bank, just a few minutes walk from the lively Kreuzberg area.
Focus on modern design with bright colours (mostly pink), nice, something different. Most things were functional though, except for the glass working table where the computer mouse isn't working and the tv which is difficult to use and unworkable slow. Large walk-in shower instead of a bath, very good. Pretty loud music in all public areas, I did not appreciate that at breakfast time. Nice staff.
Decent sized rooms, no noise nor light from outside, good bed.
Quality breakfast.
