Stayed just two nights to break up a long journey - could have happily stayed longer! It's in a great location being very close to the Hackescher S-Bahn station (less than 3 minutes walk) and also to the vibrant Hackesher Markt area.
We booked a Premier Studio room which provided extra space and a small kitchenette - we didn't use the kitchenette but it was nice to have a Nespresso coffee machine and a full size fridge.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and functional although a little on the small side as is the case in many hotels.
Didn't understand the 'air-con' comments from of the previous reviewers - our room had the most effective air-con system I've experienced in a long time. It got so cool one evening I actually turned it off.
I can't finish this review without mentioning the fantastic bar staff - unfortunately we don't know the young man's name but he was very friendly, entertaining and produced some really good cocktails (according to my wife who just had to take advantage of the Happy Hour!). They also serve some very good craft beers - and all at pretty sensible prices bearing in mind the city location).
I would be very happy to recommend this hotel and we will definitely be using it again when we come back to Berlin.More
