This market hall has both some very nice aspects and some very unpleasant ones. The best part was the very friendly guys at the exclusive sausage shop. With a mixture of German and English, they were helpful and the sausage we bought was a hit.
The worst place is the Greek restaurant Agora. We looked at the menu, chose three dishes and tried to order. The staff was stressed and rudely told us that the first dishes we tried to order were out. We tried to quickly decided on an alternative and as soon as we said one dish, they ran to get it before we even finished our order. We tried to order more and they started yelling at us and said we could not order any more, indicating that we were taking up too much time. They were rude and did not seem interested in any customer service at all. Then people in the line behind us started complaining because we had tried to order more--mind you this is after our first choices were not available so we had actually made a decision before getting up to the counter. We were barely allowed to order a glass of wine with the food. I have never experienced such poor service and it turned out the food was not that great either. AVOID AGORA.
