Location is great. Visited by tourists from all over the world. Not enough parking places for visitors. Close to restaurants and retail stores.

Good for a walk by and a picture. A lot of history is connected to the place and it brings a lot of history to life.

I was so excited to see the Brandenburg Gate, as a student I studied some German and was really keen to see it in person. I arrive yesterday and see it covered in white plastic banners etc. I’m assuming this was done for the World Cup.... why Berlin?!? This is a monument not a public lounge room. Keep your historical sites free of crap so we can enjoy what we came all this way to see!

Looks grand in all the photos until you get there and it is like Marble Arch with ugly modern building close up to each side of it. Was disappointing.
