Go there in day or night, a great piece of history that you will see in all photos about Berlin when it became ONE.
very large area to walk and take photos

Don't come to Berlin when football is on. We were unlucky enough to come on the weekend Germany were playing and as such, Brandenburg Gate was closed off unless you were entering to watch the game. Barriers everywhere; the whole weekend. Photos I took are not worth showing to friends and family. Disappointed.

Take a walking tour, which would explain you the significance of this place. Without learning the history of this place, it's just a gate.

This is a good stop for some photos. There are souvenir shops near by as well, which seems to be difficult to find in Berlin for some reason. This is a historical place. I recommend stopping here on a tour. Without the commentary this is a quick stop.

Beautiful city. A lot of history in one place and at the same time a very modern city. Unforgettable vacation
