“So Informative”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Like all of Berlin there is so much history and information, but this is a good representation of the images and information from the war and its impact on its people and the other side. Highly reccomend

“Difficult to believe, to comprehend”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

In chronological detail, this sets out how Germany and its people succumbed to Hitler and the Nazis will and systematically set about destroying those who were 'enemies' of the state - Jews, Roma, gays, communists - the list is limitless. And putting names, faces to those who carried out the will of the state - and those large businesses, many of them household names, who financially supported the Nazi party. Prepare to be upset!

“Unexpectedly informative”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Yet another free attraction in the city, Germans know how to do value!
We stopped here after a long day sightseeing and ended up spending almost two hours reading the very interesting information along the length of the Berlin Wall. The photographs and the personal stories are an excellent overview of the history of Berlin from the 1930s to 1945 and beyond.

“Interesting Site”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

This site is almost like a large slide show with captions starting with the steps that led to the Nazis gaining power in Germany, their reign of terror in Germany, and their defeat. The exhibit is set up below a section of the wall. Depending on the crowd, it can be difficult to get close enough to read the captions, so it may be necessary to wait a bit at each picture until the crowd moves on. But it is well worth it. The exhibit is free and very near Checkpoint Charlie. There are many other Berlin Wall attractions nearby as well as food vendors. But this is a definite must see for a trip to Berlin.
