Very important place to visit if you want to know more about everything that happened in the city. In fact the place is were the Gestapo office used to be.

If you are sensitive to this subject, just like me, bring your tissues.

“Excellent Stop on Third Reich Walk”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Our guide, Carlos, recommended we stop at the Topography of Terror for further information. We were so glad he told us to go there. Be sure to step inside fo the exhibits. They were informative and heartbreaking. The cafe is a very nice place to rest and get a cool drink.

“Very informative, interesting perspective”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

This is a very well done outdoor and indoor museum. It would take hours to read all the information and everything is shown in photos and readable plaques (German and English). Helps to build understanding, while standing on the site of the former SS headquarters) of the reach of this violence. The number of countries impacted and the people in society in addition to the Jewish people that were persecuted. There is a lengthy exhibit on the mentally ill and disabled.

Snack cafe and clean restrooms. Information desk staff was friendly and helpful.

“Awesome”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Nice to see a balanced overview. After all it was only about a 12 year slice of recent history that affected a great deal more than one segment of the population. The whole site is well laid out both internally and externally. It is factual and shows what ordinary people are capable of. Well worth a visit if only to see what happened is still going on today, in other communities in non western environments
