“Super collection European art”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

Very interesting museum for art lovers. A lot of 14th, 15th and 16th century art in top condision. Van Eyck, Breughel, Van der Goes (Flemish) etc. Also a lot of Dutch painters, 17th century Rembrandt, Vermeer, Hals and more. Very interesting end impressing I must say. The building has a nice atmosphere for a museum. Reduction for students is good. You easily spend half a day there.

“A must see for art lovers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

A unique collection (which used to be "home" at what is now called "Bode Museum") of classical master pieces.
The building it self is airy and specious with a nice fountain set up in its Center.
Foldable chairs are available free of charge so that you have a seat close to the pieces and enjoy them.

“Not as good as I had hoped”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

Not surprisingly the gallery focused on German art, which I find a bit heavy and depressing, but there were some paintings I liked. You have to deposit any bottles of water in the cloakroom. They have lockers you can use which need a euro coin to operate but you get the coin back at the end. There's a cafe too.

“Amazed how quiet it was”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

We went at around 4pm on a Thursday, and it was ridiculously quiet. Most other attractions we visited in Berlin were very busy, but not here. Made the enjoyment of the art all the more special.
