Let me start by saying we didn't eat here. The Ku'Damm has far too many great eateries to eat in the hotel. So I make no comment in the food.

But in every other restaurant category the kempinski Bristol delivers the goods

Check in was fast bad friendly. And gave me loads of help pinpointing places that aren't on the tourist maps.

Room was lovely. Not big not small. Usual German hotel problem - the pillows are rubbish!

Cocktails in the Bristol Bar were fab. Although their menu claims a Negroni has soda in it! Tut I say! The Count would turn in his grave.

But small nit to pick. Overall it's exactly what you want in 5 star. Plus great location

It won't let you down

Kempinski Bristol simply delivers whats promised - how nice. Stayed 2 nights in a juniorsuite without surprises. Only one thing could have been better - the gym in the basement. Beside it is the smallest gym I have ever seen and tried, the equipment itself have seen better days.

The breakfast buffet; it is a not the biggest but the quality is fine. Although I believe the price (27€ pr person) is to high.

Had dinner one night at The Kempinski Grill restaurant; probably the best hotelrestaurant I have ever tried. Nice surprice.

Luxury lobby, very expensive cafe but nice. Lethal Grappa served and loved it. Overall this is what I would expect of Kempinski standard. This is old Berlin area I believe and very nice sector

The indoor swimming pool is fantastic and nice Gym. The bell boys and bell girls are cute and actually very helpful. They look like what you see in the movies

My only issue for double bed, it's actually 2 beds joined together with 2 duvets that was not too funny for me. Oops, I forgot they added someone else bill on mine by mistake, and you can check your bills on the TV which is linked to your room account, that's how I noticed it and they resolved the issue after some investigation. Happy ending

Room Tip: Ask for rooms back of the hotels. It was quieter, that's usually my preference anyway.

Room, service restaurant and SPA - everything was great and for our next trip to Berlin we will certainly chose the Kempinski again.
We are very often in Berlin, of all the hotels we stayed in, the Kempinski offered the best value.

Hotel right in the middle of Kurfustendamn shopping area, all the big designers, walking distance-10 mins stroll to the famous "KA DA WEE", huge department store with a fantastic food and drink hall, I love the champagne bars !!!
Easy parking if u have a hire car.
The breakfast buffet is everything u want, and in the summer u can sit outside on the terrace and watch the city come to life. Easy reach of lots of restaurants. Its on a very good bus route which takes u all round the city, and the tour bus stops opposite the hotel and for about 25 euros u can hop on and off all day, and takes in all the sights of the city.
We had a suite, it was enough space for us, lovely bathroom, toilet, shower and bath, with a seperate toilet and washbasin near the front door, the view of the railway was not too good, u couldnt have the window open for the noise, but it was soundproof.
We ate in the hotel restaurant at nite a few times, and it was good german food.
