Having just returned from a 3 day trip to Berlin with friends, I was very surprised at the quality of the hotel. The hotel is set in the eastern side of Berlin and not in the more upmarket side of the city. The staff were very professional , polite and nothing was to much trouble. The hotel itself was very modern and the rooms clean and tidy and wow the showers were to die for. The food was to a very high standard. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in berlin 10 out of 10

An excellent and well located hotel within walking distance of many attractions which Berlin has to offer. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. With a teenage family free wifi in our room would have been a bonus. Look out for the cyclists

Room Tip: Rooms at the back were quiet

We have enjoyed a 4 night stay here.
This hotel is not in a particularly good area, not particularly bad either.
Clean hotel, nice relatively spacious rooms.
We slept well the beds were very comfortable.
Can't comment on the food, we ate breakfast at Ground Coffee over the road most days, cheaper then the hotel.
Well placed for the underground.
Hotel wifi available in the lobby was useless.
Bar service was slow, reception staff very helpful.
We would look for somewhere in a central location next time we visit Berlin.

I stayed here with a friend for three nights. Although the decor was minimal, the room was one of the most spacious and low cost rooms ($100/night) that I have ever stayed in, in a major European city. The hotel itself has a modern, funky vibe, and is located near a metro station and is about a 15 minute walk to the Friedrichstraße area, which has many restaurants and shops. Wifi is available for 4.95 euros for 24 hours (Telecom) but it also works in many areas of the city, so you can use your wifi package outside of the room.

Close to the hotel, there are many ethnic restaurants (great Italian, Indian, Indonesian, Singaporean) located on Oranienburger Straße. We ate at several here, and were not disappointed.

As a sidenote, I found the city of Berlin to be very confusing, as the attractions are very spread out. It seems that this hotel, located in the Mitte district was pretty central to all of the attractions, but it was still quite a walk to everything.

We were very happy with our stay. Although a construction site was visible from the room the overall impression was very good. I can really recommend this hotel to other couples. On the down side is the Internet connectivity. Free internet is far from ok, spent lots of time trying to access the web. No way of paying for own Internet in reception, only by creditcard. I thought it should be included in a premiumroom rate, but I was wrong. But overall I'm pleased. Due to construction work in the Ubahn it was not as simple as it should be to use Ubahn throughout the city, we had to walk between two stations to be able to continue our travels. This will be much better when the construction is finished.

Stayed here for 4 days with a friend. Room was very large, especially by European standards. Furnishings were minimal but modern. Wifi is €6.95 a day but worth it as it's at T-Mobile based service which is also available at numerous locations throughout Berlin including every train/metro station I visited (saves massively on international roaming fees). Lobby bar is cool. Hotel is located right by metro and as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, you can go most anywhere by foot. I'd definitely stay here again.
