Perfectly organized. And saying that the performance was also perfect would be an underestimation. :)

The Philarmonic has a lunch-time programme every Tuesday, free of charge, starting at 1 p.m. Get there earlier, choose a snack at the theatre's cafeteria and enjoy it with good music!

The Philharmonie has the best acoustics of any concert hall in the world and when you combine that with the exceptionally talented musicians, you have a once-in-a-lifetime listening experience. Our concert was performed by core members of the Berlin Philharmonic and was recorded live, but any concert would be a wonderful experience. Don't miss it!

We have seen the Berlin Phil before, but we had student tickets and were sitting in the 4th row from the stage. This time we paid for regular tickets and ended up sitting off to the side and behind the orchestra, which were still great seats. It was fun to watch the conductor's face as he led the orchestra in a marvelous performance of Mahler's 3rd Symphony.
