I have stayed here for three night with my family. The hotel is situated in the center, near Kurfürstendamm. The rooms are nice, clean, big enough but there are differences, especially in the size of the bathrooms. Some rooms are facing to the street others to the courtyard of the building. I would say quiet if the floor is not creaky a bit. Beds are okay but feather pillows are inconvenient. The breakfast is rich and tasty, the staff is friendly. Uncomfortable but very normal in Berlin that the reception is on the first floor and elevators are in the landing.

I stayed in a good sized double bedroom. Nice equipped. Comfortable bed. There was no airco, only a fan. The lift runs between the first and 4/5 floor. The internet worked very well, even on the fourth floor. Nice breakfast, although basic. The room was located at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet, except for one morning, when they woke me up at half past six, probably to supply the hotel. No slamming doors however. The shower is rather small. Occasionally there are hitches in the hot water supply, but that was not a problem for me. I should have asked them to do something about the unpleasant odor in the bathroom. All in all it was a very pleasant stay at Comfort Hotel Auberge.

We had a 24 hour layover in Berlin, and this was available using points. Generally, it was fine. The location was good and convenient to West Berlin shopping and transportation. The room was very large and the bathroom and other amenities were more than fine. The only downside is that at 1 am the front desk person could not recommend one single place to go for drinks (nothing around here)...so we just walked down the street to grab a drink in an outdoor patio.

Room Tip: Most of the nighlight around the hotel is LGBT-focused (hope everyone is comfortable with that)

The hotel has 3 stars but except for the confortable position ( very closer from the U-Wittenbergplatz and KaDaWe) an the modern (but small) rooms, the services are not the best. There is a very small room for breakfast and the food isn't so high quality and various. There is no Hall, just a corridor with doors, some seats in a corner and in one of the door there is the reception, beside it, there is the breakfast room and the other doors are the guests rooms.
Unfortunately I passed there the weekend, and i have to say that the rooms are TOTAL with no soundproofing. This meant that for almost all the night (saturday) the young groups of people in vacation were waking us up everytime they crossed the corridor to go in and out from them rooms.
I use to travel in hostels, so when i book a 3stars Hotel i have only 3 expectations:
silence, cleaning and breakfast. Except for the room (very cleaned and new) the others expectations were disappointing. Even that, thanks to the position of the Hotel and the fair price
of the rooms i have to say that is not so bad. Just try to do not stay there in the noisy weekend.

I stayed three nights and I was impressed by the size of the room. Don't let the fact that this hotel is part of the Comfort/Quality/Clarion chain dissuade you - for those looking for the European hotel experience, this is very much a European-style hotel. It is a nice old building and the rooms are more like European-style than American-style. I booked a double, it also had a sofa and two chairs surrounding a large coffee table, a cabinet with decent-sized television on it, a desk and chair, a settee, and a stand-alone wardrobe closet. My room faced the street and had two large windows with double panes that swung open - plenty of fresh air.
Staff is very friendly and fluent in English. Hotel is a great location, just a short block off Wittenburgplatz. KaDeWe is about a 3 minute walk.
Positives: location is great; friendly, English-speaking staff; large, comfortable room.
Negatives: even though there is free wi-fi, it times out after a while (perhaps 1 hour?) and you're in the middle of doing something when suddenly the internet stops working - after trying to reload a few pages it will redirect you to the sign-in page again - a little annoying, but it IS free; the bathtub was a bit awkward to stand in to take a shower - it had a very narrow (almost rounded) floor to it; there is a lift, but you'll need to carry your bags up at least one flight of stairs to get to it - rooms on the same floor as reception have two flights of stairs to go up.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street get morning sun and have a decent view - the hotel is at the end of the stre...

Old style hotel just behind Kurfyrstendam and the center of Berlin. Very, very helpful personnel - clean and big rooms - not like London or Paris...:-)
And very reasonably prices.
This is the right place to stay for at trip to Berlin - and in 3 minutes walking distance of KaDeWE....

Location, location, location. 50 m from Wittenbergplatz and KaDeWe, and 300 m from Nollendorfplatz it's the perfect location in Schöneberg.

There's an elevator, but it starts half a floor up from the entrance, and stops on every half floor, so you'll have to do a bit of luggage carrying yourself no matter what.

Out room was large (no 31), the bathroom tiny, tiny.
The staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok, but not worth the 9€ they charged, you'll be better off at the local Bakery, Tole's Backshop, right across the Lietzenburger Straße.
The room was always clean and cleaned no matter how late we left the room.
The mattress and pillows were a little too soft for my taste, but the bed was big and the linen good quality.
The draft from the balcony doors was heavy, but the radiator more than made up for that. The walls, floors and ceilings also seem paper thin, so the noise between the rooms was at times a bit bothersome.
But still I liked the hotel!
