Awful hotel

We booked this hotel through Thomas Cook we believed it was a 4 * but it actual was no star. The rooms were small despite paying for a superior room and it turned out it was exactly the same superior simply meant it look out into the garden not the road. No difference in room. There were bugs I think silver fish running all over killed 4 in first 1 minute of entering the bathroom. Moved to another room and there was 1 in there to. We were so disappointed we paid an extra €32 per night to upgrade to a 4* Leonardo hotel. Not sure there was that great a difference but at least new one was clean and bug free. Feel ripped off as difference in price on the net was not €30 per night. Definitely do not recommend Leona d hotels.

While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Please be assured that your feedback has been discussed with the responsible heads of department and action has been taken. It is correct that the difference between superior and comfort rooms is, that superior rooms look out into the courtyard and not into the road because the road is very busy and it could be noisy.
If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

Lovely for a tourist trip

Visited this hotel in early September. Was a lovely quaint hotel, room is pleasant and very clean. Staff were helpful to accommodate any needs also.
The hotel was about 20 minutes from Berlin city centre, and very easy to access, so as long as you're willing to travel a short bus journey or jump on the underground then this hotel is golden.
The airport is also just one bus journey away so nice and simple also.

Meh, but nice breakfast

The staff people were all really nice.

Characterless and bare bones. Could use some upgrading and modernization. It's kind of 70s/80s. Just clean enough so I wouldn't complain about that.

Not close to the center. Was OK for us because we were visiting people nearby, but a few other non-german tourists had been sold on it being closer to the center than it was and left.

However, the price was good!

Room tip: Ask for room that doesn't face the street.

the trend is to cut the overall costs, and that reflects the quality standards that apply....at this moment, some of the previous benefits)included) are now only available for extra money. the Hotel has no restaurant....

Amazing Hotel with beautiful location

Very good Hotel and excellent location. Well trained staff and they all were very helpful. I will visit again. All amenities were very close station is close as well. Room quality was super and breakfast too.
